Bryant and Thunder absolutely love their hay ball! They immediately leave the hay in the feeders as soon as they see us place it out. It keeps them entertained, which is always a big plus for lively two-year-olds!

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone is enjoying 2026 so far.

We are working hard to catch up after the Holidays, and I apologize for the lack of updates. We hope to be back on track this week.

Pictured is Tormenta, Katrina's Dam. She has been moved to pasture turnout after Katrina was weaned.

She is doing well, and today we began some evaluations.

Catching her in the pasture earned a C+, and it definitely needs improvement.

We brought her into the main wash rack and placed her in the crossties. Please note that we use breakaway ties; we would never hard tie a new horse. These ties have a velcro breakaway (circled in the picture) and can be adjusted for strength. If they break, a small attachment remains to the halter, making her easier to catch.

Tying was an A-. She moved around a bit but overall did very well!

I'm very pleased with her progress today.

We're kicking off the year with some wonderful news—an adoption! Wishing a joyful journey to little Biscuit as she joins her new family. She'll now be sharing her home with the lovely Jelly Roll, who was adopted earlier. We're sincerely grateful for all our amazing adopters who make these happy moments possible!
