I’ve been dabbling and experimenting with one of my first clients since coming back into horses! Story time…

His horse’s tail almost completely fell out from the tip of the dock due to a trauma. He has done such an incredible job of regrowing the hair in a short amount of time, but there was still not enough hair to place a fake tail. He put his thinking cap on and came to me with a brilliant idea! We took a fake tail (that was color matched PERFECTLY) and we cut out sections and used a keratin wand with all natural keratin beads and attached individual extensions to his horses short tail hair! This is the fourth time that we have done it over the past few months and it has done ZERO damage to the regrowth and it looks so natural!!! He has also been able to save the bonded pieces of hair from the fake tail and we re-used them!! I think this could definitely be the future for tails!! It holds well, is all natural and lasts for days!!! No more weight on just a small section of tail!

Thank you so much for asking AND trusting me with this experiment! I am so excited that it has been so successful!! Joe Hall is the perfect person to color match ANY tail color!! We’re thinking that the sky is the limit with this new discovery!!! Check out the results for yourselves 😍

That’s a wrap for me! Had a wonderful time at WEC this past week for the NSBA/FQHA Florida Gulf & Gold Coast show!!! It was lovely to see almost all the barns FILLED with beautiful babies!! Good luck to everyone showing this weekend and a special THANK YOU to all of my new clients this past week!!! I love getting to pamper your sweet babies 🖤

Fancy This Lope, aka Bailey at the Winter Classic show! She won the big Florida Holiday show circuit championship in an Open Overo Color class with 24 entries (1, 1, 1, 2, 4, 4, 4, 6)!
Bailey also entered her 1st Amateur Overo Color class and ended up second overall in a huge class of 41 (1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, -). *Copied most of this text from her Mama’s post*
