I think we’ve filled all the help for January. Would love the same amount of folks for February and March.

Volunteer help needed on Tuesday, January 14 at Pet Alliance Alafaya, 12050 E Colonial Drive, Orlando. This is our monthly CARE Day and we will have 80 cats being sterilized. Must be 18+. There is a bus stop close to the clinic. The dates of February 11 && March 11 will also need volunteers. I can gladly sign off on any volunteer forms and you can put this towards your Social Responsibility at most employers.

Help needed in several roles…

Helping to carry traps with cats around the clinic (heavy lifting). Helping to draw up vaccinations (you do not administer them of course). Changing newspaper and clean traps while cat is being sterilized ensuring it’s clean for them to return to it (lifting empty traps weighing up to 10 pounds). Opening syringes from their plastic protective pouches (this can be completed sitting down). Helping carrying cats in traps at discharge (heavy lifting).

Those interested are welcome to give as much of their time between 7am and 5pm, though the greater need is 8a to 12p. Just let staff (or myself, Bill) know what you’d be most comfortable with.

***you will see cats anesthetized in almost all roles. The surgery takes place in a separate room and you can fully avoid seeing any surgery***

Happy New Year!! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us this year, whether by utilizing our services, making donations, or offering words of encouragement on social media. Your support has been invaluable!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news! *Drum roll, please!* 🥁 Starting January 9th, we will be extending our wellness hours and services. Wellness hours will now be available on Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 2:45 PM and on Fridays from 8:00 AM to noon.

Additionally, on Thursdays and Fridays only, we will begin accommodating patients with ear and skin issues during wellness hours. We will also be offering Apoquel and Cytopoint, among other medications, to assist our itchy companions.

We could not have accomplished this without your support. Thank you once again, and we wish you a wonderful 2025!

CARE Feline TNR, Inc. & Central Florida Community Pet Clinic kicked off our partnership again in July 2024. In only a brief 6-month period we were able to accomplish so many Trap-Neuter-Return Surgeries.

104 Kittens were prevented from being born on the streets of Central Florida

This is not possible without our volunteers, trappers, donors and clinic staff! We appreciate everyone helping to achieve these numbers!
