Took a week off from selling the dead to go see the world! We always love snooping out oddities shops wherever we go and the legendary in Colorado Springs did not disappoint! The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable, the store is gorgeous and we just may have picked up some beautiful specimens to pin for you guys!

Only a few more days until the Enchanted Knights Faire at the Oviedo Mall!

Enchanted Knights: Myths and Legends, an Epic Renaissance Faire is only 1 week away! Join us from 11 am to 6 pm on March 8th inside Oviedo Mall for a day overflowing with amazing things to see and do! With over 70 booths of local artists, artisans, and performers to purview, 3 live combat shows culminating in the King of the Ring, a free fighting pit, free mini figure painting, a free digital photo booth, and so much more your day will be packed to brim.

The parking is free, the admission is free, the AC is free! With all this marvelously medieval mayhem going on, why haven’t you marked your calendar yet? 😉

2024 has come to an end and we’re moving into a new year. It was a year of some incredible highs, plenty of trials and lots of lessons learned. A year of new friends, open doors and growth… both artistically and personally.

We are eternally grateful to anyone who purchases our insects, stops by our booth to say hi or even drops a like on one of our posts. We have some exciting plans for 2025 that we can’t wait to share with all of you!

We hope that this new year brings prosperity, joy and good health to you and yours.

Happy Krampusnacht! We’ll see all of you heathens at Krampusfest this Sunday! If you miss us, we still have a lot of amazing insect specimens at for their holiday open house!

Boys and girls… Krampusnacht is nearly upon us! If you make it through tomorrow night without getting whipped and chained (unless that’s your thing) you should celebrate with us at Krampusfest this Sunday 12/8/2024 from 2pm - 9pm! We’ll have so many wonderful bugs, bones and specimen ornaments made specifically for Krampusfest!

This is an incredible event loaded with vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, a Krampus parade and even photos with Krampus himself!

The event is free and *mostly* family friendly until sundown when things start getting a little spooky and the festivities a bit more adult oriented. Looking for unique Christmas gifts? With over 200 vendors you’ll find something for everyone on your list!

We’re in the final stretch of the year!
