Today is Monday, Dec. 27, 2021. We have still not found Peaches. We believe there was a possible sighting of her. We have established a GoFundMe page on the sight link listed above. Since we are seniors and on a fixed income trying to find her location and any information about possible sights that would help us know the area that she may be in is critical to finding her. Our "Little Dog Lost."
On October 17 we were in San Antonio to celebrate our "Daughter in Love's" Ordination. While we were at the church, our little dog, Peaches, escaped while we were out. Our son, Terry and wife, Corinne, reside in the Stone Oak Community on El Suelo Bueno Street. Peaches ran into the Green Belt area behind their home.
Peaches was abused as a puppy and it took a very long time for her to trust us after we adopted her. She has still never totally trusted any other person except the gentleman who fostered her prior to our adopting her. She attached herself to me and was always my shadow. She would have come to me if we had not been gone at the time of her escape. She is not street wise and is probably very hungry and frightened by now. We live in Winters, TX, south of Abilene, TX which is 4 ½ hours away from San Antonio and we are panicked for her safe return.
Please, could anyone help us spread the word to help find her and get her back to us. We appreciate any and all information about her possible travel direction. We have enclosed a Flyer copy below.

While involved in Greyhound Rescue and Adoption since 1995, we found that the Martingale style collars used on Greyhounds were essential for their protection and were the collar of choice. When fitted properly, these collars keep the Greyhound’s narrow skulls from slipping out of their collars in panic. Rescued Racing Greyhounds of today, should they get loose, are not familiar with the dangers of the world around them because they have been raised in seclusion. Because of their fright in new and strange surroundings they avoid coming easily to strangers to be caught. Due to this innocence we must protect them from getting loose.
