The City of Winters' Title 6 Ordinances (ANIMALS) are an adoption of Yolo County's Code Of Ordinances Article 4 section 6. Pets are part of our families, and it is important we treat them as such. For their safety and yours, here are a few rules regarding dogs in the City of Winters and Yolo County:

-All dogs must be on a leash when not on private property.
-All dogs over 4 months old must be licensed and vaccinated (Rabies).
-All dogs over 4 months old must have a collar. The collar must list the license number, proof of vaccination, and the name and address of the owner.
-No dogs are allowed to run at large. If a dog is caught running at large and is impounded by Yolo County Animal Control, all costs of the impound are payable by the dog owner.

Say hello to our new boy Irk aka Merc. This is our first day together. Extremely excited to have this guy and I am looking forward to our adventures together.

Grey collar loves obstacles! He would do great at agility! He also has nice grips and could make a nice IGP prospect and he loves to chase the ball!

Gabriel is a 5 month old registered German Shepherd puppy. He has an incredible temperament and lots of training already. He is available to the right home. There is a rehoming fee.

Down and stay with Piper. A dog I’m training.

Apparently Gladius likes chicken food 🤷🏻‍♀️ You would t know it but when I got Gladius 3 years ago she would kill chickens, chase cats, and go after livestock. Now she is the guardian.

All my dogs have learned to ignore and leave chickens alone. 3 of which were not raised around chickens.
