The Royal Winter Fair is a show that all horse enthusiasts should put on their bucket list. Not only were there champion horses, there were champion riders from all over the world. (I have included a clip of a champion jumper competitor). It was a privilege to be there and we could not express our gratefulness for the hospitality that we enjoyed.
Here is another video I took from the Royal Winter Fair of Belgians.
We posted earlier that we were going to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto,Ontario with three ponies. It was without a doubt one of the Best Horse Shows that we have attended in years. We were hosted by the Paul Richardson Family & the John Brunton Family. We were stabled next to them & their hospitality was unsurpassed. It was a FUN week!
Our ponies made good shows and we came home as Reserve Champions in all 3 divisions that we entered...pleasure pony driving division with Crystal Creek’s Stormy Night and Carl Nichols; Open Hackney pony division with Crystal Creek’s Dr. Hill and Kathryn Nichols; and Open Harness pony division with Twice as Phenomenal and Eduardo Lopez. Not only were there excellent hackney ponies & horses, but also the other division/breeds were just as exciting. I have included a clip of a dressage competition.
W.G.C. Dun-Haven Phenomenal natural motion.
Double Trouble was listening to someone talking about Lipizzans in Austria doing aires above the ground, so he was practicing.
