Experienced Feeder/Stable Manager for Private Breeding and Dressage Barn
*Location:* Winterville, GA
*Job Type:* Full-Time or Part-Time
*Job Description:* We are seeking dedicated and experienced feeders or a full time stable manager to join our team at a prestigious private breeding and dressage barn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for feeding and caring for horses during the AM, lunch, and PM shifts. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with young and athletic horses, has a keen eye for detail, and can work efficiently within a team environment.
*Responsibilities:*- Feed and care for horses during designated AM, lunch, and PM shifts. - Monitor horses’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns to management. - Work closely with upper management and team members to ensure the highest standard of care. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of feeding areas and equipment. - Handle young and athletic horses with confidence and care.
*Qualifications:*- Proven experience working with horses, particularly in a breeding and/or dressage setting. - Comfortable and skilled in handling young and athletic horses. - Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. - Attention to detail and a proactive approach to horse care. - Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely.
