Poodles need regular grooming and we start that weekly before they go to their new homes. They get nails done with the grinder and clippers. They also have hair trimmed using the clipper to get use to the motor. And baths only when needed, as puppies younger than 8 weeks can’t regulate their body temperature yet. All this is done as part of preparing a well adjusted puppy for their new owners.
