Snow day for Rudy and Wyatt. They’re really digging the ❄️❄️❄️!!
Hauled out the big coats for our morning walk. -9° and some wind.🥶💨 No internet either. But at least it’s sunny😎 …and the cars started. We have power and water, and I just started reading American Prometheus, which should more than take me through this cold snap. Way better than the -25° spell we had a year ago. Stay warm, friends‼️
After Rudy showed off his newly acquired cockroaching skills yesterday, Wyatt wants to make sure we know that he is the undisputed king of pretzel legs. 🥨🦵
Missing our 🌈bridge kids this holiday season! 🎄🐾🐾💔

Campy had his leg amputated on Tuesday. He is doing really well and I am driving down to Wenatchee today to bring him home. I haven’t been able to talk publicly about this until now. Just 10 weeks ago we adopted Campagnolo aka “Campy” after losing our 10 1/2 year old greyhound Truman to osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in early October. Campy is only 4 1/2 years old. He developed a limp around Christmas and we immediately took him for X-rays. Osteo has visited upon our pack again, but we may have caught it early enough. His leg was amputated Tuesday in a bid to save his life and remove the pain that the tumor was causing him. No guarantees, nothing is certain and the results are a gamble. Campy has a strong desire to be with his pack (us)! We care greatly about his quality of life and want to give him every opportunity possible. We love Campy and will be there for him. And F**k you cancer! AGAIN! #f**kcancer #greyhoundsofinstagram #greyhoundlove
