Noel is a beautiful pit mix with the most gorgeous eyes. Those eyes often have a bit of concern in them since she doesn't have the most self-confidence. She absolutely loves other dogs and you can see her eyes shine with delight and a little bit of courage when she's with her doggy friends. She enjoys going for walks and is learning to sit for treats. Noel would require another dog in the home to help her feel more secure. With routine and patience, Noel will surely thrive in a new home! Find out more about Noel here: https://www.pawsofhertfordcounty.org/

Just like the much loved cheesy snacks - this girl is much loved by the PAWS volunteers. PAWS' Cheeto doesn't leave an orange stain on your fingers though! Cheeto wants you to know that although all of the crunchy Cheetos are orange, only about 2-5% of ALL cats are orange and out of orange cats - only 20% are female. (She can't take the math any further because she doesn't have a calculator.) Cheeto rightfully claims that she is unusual - not only because she is not crunchy...unusual because she is a girl orange! Another great trait is that this girl is pretty much unflappable. She beckons you to come pay attention to her and s-t-r-a-n-g-e-r is not in her vocabulary. Cheeto loves gazing out her condo window until a volunteer is nearby and available to pet her. And she is here for that! Find out more about Cheeto here: ttps://www.pawsofhertfordcounty.org

❤️ Kitten season is here and we need your help to buy an incubator for neonatal kittens! ❤️

Each year, our fosters quickly jump into action to save the lives of neonatal kittens. No more than a few days old, they are battling the odds without their mother’s warmth and nourishment. They require around-the-clock feeding, specialized medical care, and a lot of love just to make it through each day.

Our fosters work tirelessly to provide them the best care possible, but an incubator will provide another level of support in helping save these fragile lives.

Incubators are expensive, but this lifesaving resource will help so many that are fighting for survival. Over the last 2 years, one of our fosters provided around the clock care to nearly 50 neonatal kittens, helping them grow and thrive.

Will you please consider making a donation to help us provide a warm, safe place for these babies? Our goal is $1,000 to purchase 1 incubator.

SUZIE Q IS ADOPTED!!

Suzie Q went home today and by the looks of it, we think she's enjoying herself! She's even got herself a hound sister! Everyone who met our Suzie fell in love with her peaceful, yet playful personality. Enjoy your new life sweetheart!!

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, this is just the beginning for Murphy. It's his "BEFORE" picture. Every day, he gets a little more handsome and gains a little more weight. We're getting rid of those nasty worms that stole the nutrition from him. He was already a very happy boy but we'd like to think he's even more happy now that he's feeling better. If you've ever wondered if your donation makes a difference, Murphy is here to say ABSOLUTELY!!!

THANK YOU FOR SAVING MURPHY!!

Our girl Suzie Q has such a pleasant, peaceful personality that you can't help but to relax when you're with her. She has such a peaceful vibe! When describing a good dog, Suzie Q is exactly what comes to mind. She's not too big, not too small, she's got just enough energy to have a good time but not so much that she's exhausting to deal with! She loves other dogs and her play style is usually more on the gentle side. Her playful side shines through when she and our other dogs play keep away with their favorite toys. Suzie Q enjoys going for strolls with our volunteers. She is a true southern belle and we have yet to hear her hound song. Our other hounds howl out with excitement but Suzie Q usually just quietly observes. We think she would do well in most any home environment. Her calm demeanor is truly remarkable. Brutus looks like he has been to the gym a few times with his muscular weight. This handsome marbled boy can be evasive, but once you start giving him treats and petting him, he comes around for the treats as if you bought a ticket to his petting booth! (He is a real flirt though...you will think he wants to play and love, but he really is after the treats.) Brutus' style is more like moving around your feet like a Roomba. He is great with other cats rubbing up on them and playing with the adult cats. With all that muscle and weight, Brutus says he is not the usual tabby. Golden Girl!Tessa still has plenty of pep in her step and loves going for walks. She's also content to sniff around the yard with her hound friends but would also be okay as an only dog. She is a pretty laid back gal but can be quitw vocal when treats are involved. This girl certainly has no problem singing for her supper! She does need to lose some weight and would love a family willing to help her shed some pounds. Tessa is a great girl and will make a wonderful companion! With a gorgeous face, pretty markings and a sweet soul - this girl will make some family very happy! Breyer's brown marbling looks like fudge swirl ice cream. This sweet girl is getting adjusted to the routines in the cat room and is doing well. Breyer may be a little cautious now and then, but she does enjoy people petting on her. She loves lickable treats and will lick a churu off your fingers. She is related to Brutus and may be a sibling. We look forward to learning more about Breyer and sharing - as she shares more with us! Find out more about Breyer here: https://www.pawsofhertfordcounty.org/

Yardley is a beautiful tabby girl who has lived with other cats. When she first arrived at PAWS as a kitten, she was a little sick and got an eye infection. We treated her and she was quickly feeling good as new but does have a slight discoloration on one eye. Yardley grew from cute older kitten to a lovely young adult in a home. Her family loved her but had to return her because of a move. So, Yardley is looking for her second loving family. Scratch her under her chin and she will gaze at you with beautiful eyes. Yardley currently lives with other cats and even snuggles with her good friend, Vicky. She is a friendly girl who'd love to go home with a family who will give love her as deeply as she will love them! Find out more about Yardley here: https://www.pawsofhertfordcounty.org/

Fancy is a beautiful, young lab mix who loves all things fun! She loves to play with our other dogs and quickly adjusted to our daily routine by following their lead. She's very loving and will sit right in your lap. She enjoys toys and you can often find her and Suzie Q attached, carrying around the same toy in their mouths! This young lady is ready to learn all the things that go into being someone's best friend. Could Fancy be the companion you've been looking for? Vicky is a graduate of Kitty Confidence School with her teachers/volunteers. Vicky was among the first litter to gradate and be ready for a home. She was adopted and had to come back to PAWS after a great year and some months in a loved home. Now, Vicky is calmly waiting for her second family to choose her. She is a gorgeous gray and white tabby. Imagine a tuxedo cat, but instead of black - she wears a gray striped coat. Very stylish. For the most part, Vicky naps her days away in her favorite spot in her kitty condo. She will sometimes snuggle with her best friend, Yardley. She can't wait to find her family!
