Recently we have lost one of our flock members (human). My father was such a caring man, he had such a big heart and enjoyed his wonderful life with family, friends and critters. Unfortunately he lost his job 2 weeks prior to passing away. We are looking for donations to help us care for the homestead and care for our family. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. I wish more people got to know my amazing father, he always made everyone feel special. We will truly miss him. ❤

Since we haven't posted in a long time, I wanted to put this message out there.

Thank you everyone who has supported us over the years. It was a great run. Unfortunately we significantly minimized our chicken count. We wanted to be able to hatch some birds this year, however it will be no where near what we hatched in the past or many purebred anymore.

With the price of everything going up these last two years and a switch of pace with a new business and a new baby in the household we had to minimize what we had. I do apologize to anyone who was wanting certain breeds again.

We will only be hatching a few times this year and the chicks will be only sold as straight run. Below is what we will have:
-Easter Eggers
-Sanjak Longcrower
-ducks (mixed)

We will have barnyard mix but with our unique variety we still decided to keep the chances of very good looking birds is high. As you may have guessed the price of chicks will be lower than in the past due to them not being purebred. The only breed that will be on the higher end is the Sanjak Longcrower.

Happy New Year Everyone!

We apologize for not keeping everyone up to date with what has been going on with the hatchery. Unfortunately, we have shrunk the number of birds we have and decided to only hatch a limited number of the remaining breeds, which include Ameraucana, Easter Eggers, KO Shamo, Serama, and Cayuga x Anacona ducks (mix).

As we have shrunk our breeding programs and taken a step back from becoming a bigger hatchery, we have decided to build a cabin on a part of our property. This cabin is called The Longcrow Inn, which is based on one of our rare breeds, the Denzil and Cosova Longcrower. We have decided to rent The Longcrow Inn on our own website and on Airbnb. If you are looking for a getaway with your family or friends we have got you covered. Take a look at our website just to see what the area has to offer. We would truly love to have you as our guests. We will also be offering a free dozen eggs at each stay. (and yes you can take them home and hatch them if you really want).
