As we face the upcoming extreme temperatures, Snow Equine is committed to prioritizing the safety of all horses we haul, and thus will not be performing any hauls Sunday January 19th - Tuesday January 21st. We look forward to resuming hauls on Wednesday January 22nd, thanks to your continued trust and support!
We hope that all of our equine friends are as fortunate as we are to provide indoor shelter over this period. And most importantly, we wish all of our human friends safety from the freshness and shenanigans that are sure to follow on Wednesday!

We normally are a dedicated truck, so just your horse/horses are on. The rare times we put other horses on our truck is when the point of origin is the same and they are going the same direction. We operate this way because we do haul “dirty” horses and try to minimize the spread of diseases.

Unfortunately at this time we do not offer quarantine. What we do offer is transport and trailer training. We do have places to send your horse for quarantine and surrender. If trailer training is needed we come to you.

Although I adore this, I assure you we do not allow our customers to stick their heads out going down the road! It would be fantastic for sure if we did though 🤪🤪🤪

I have been asked several times on how I equip my trailers.
I carry a 8’ whip, a 6’ whip, a 4’ flag, a 30” crop, a 24” crop, and a 36” cattle paddle. My go to is the flag.
My hay feeders are net bags. I carry water and buckets but never given while going down the road. I carry a horse first aid kit, 50lbs of sweet feed, calming powder, a soft rubber dish.
My priority is to deliver a happy, healthy horse with no injuries. By policy anything that happens on my trailer is on my dime. That is also why if I don’t personally know you, you will not go on my trailer.

Don’t take this the wrong way, I enjoy hauling horses, but I am going to point out somethings I have seen/ delt with.
1. Horses are expensive
2. They take time and energy
3. They require commitment
4. They require care and respect
I have had hauled some horses from a kill pen more than once and it just is ridiculous. I am not saying kill pen horses are bad, most are not, some are. If you are not in it for the long haul bills, don’t get one.
Mustangs are different from horses, if you want one spend time with a mustang trainer or somebody that has a lot of time around them.

If your animal is crossing state lines we require a health certificate. We will not load without one, and we will not load any horses without coggins.

Keeping our horses and your horses healthy and safe is the #1 priority for us. Frequent pressure washing and bleaching between each trip to disinfect the trailer is essential.
