🐾Pets of the week!🐾

Meet Pudding & Chai

😻 Pudding is an adorable 15 pound mixed breed. Pudding was a stray who arrived with old spinal and hip injuries. Don’t be fooled, this little man is full of life and s***k! Pudding’s injuries have affected his bowel and bladder, it is recommended that he be expressed on a schedule to assist him or have a dedicated and consistent potty schedule. Pudding has a lot of life in his and is looking for his forever home!

😻Chai was a stray who arrived with a litter. All her sweet babies have been adopted, so it is her turn. Chai is shy, but has made great strides with staff in socializing. Chai’s caregivers say that she does great when allowed to warm up at her pace.

Meet Daisy

🐾Daisy is a beautiful medium sized mixed breed who is available for adoption! Miss Daisy is 1 year and 10 months old and in her short life, she has bounced between homes and has been a stray a few times with us. She was recently adopted but was returned due to no fault of her own. Daisy has been feeling the bouncing home blues. She has stayed with ABC Dog Training in the spring and they reported she did well with most other dogs but as always a meet and greet with your pets would be best. Daisy has a sweet temperament but does not realize she can knock down small kids. Daisy would be best in a home with children over the age of 12 and no feline friends in the home. Daisy is looking for her final home that is ready to invest in her just as she will in you!

You’ve been waiting patiently for the last 10 days!

🎉We are now open for 𝐃O𝐆 𝐖A𝐋K𝐈N𝐆! 🎉
We have heard our community and have finally had the opportunity to bring back this great opportunity!

🏃Starting August 8th, we will be opening up dog walking to you!
🏃‍♀️Dog walking will be 11-5:30 (T,H,F) and 10-3:30 (Sat)
🏃‍♂️Must be 17 years of age to hold the leash.

📌Please be patient as we work to transition through this exciting change! We cannot wait to see our dog walkers back in action!

🐾It is time for our July review! The weather was heating up and so were the adoptions.

🐾We had a total of 𝟒𝟗 adoptions. We continued to have foster kittens return, ready for adoption and we had the sweetest litter of pups become available for adoption.

🐾We currently have 𝟔𝟖 available pets waiting for homes. Our 𝐒𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 is going on until August 24th!

Our pups are looking for some fresh snacks to help with enrichment this summer as well! We have made frozen water with strawberries and the dogs enjoyed playing and eating them in the summer heat.

It’s a 𝙲𝚊𝚝-𝚝𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚌 𝚠𝚎𝚎𝚔!
Meet Big Jim, Soloman, Smiley & Elsie!!

😻 Big Jim is one cat you don’t want to miss out on! He is an absolute lover, know his name and loves to play! He is a big boy, so engaging in play will help him be his healthiest self! But, he would also enjoy a lap to call his own. He will make anyone a great family addition!

😻Soloman is a charming 4 year old. He does well with other cats in the shelter environment. He loves to snuggle under blankets. He is currently with another cat and enjoys her company. He actively seeks attention, making him a great companion for anyone!

😻Smiley is a petite little lady with the sweetest yellow eyes. She loves people and wants to be where you are. She is currently living with Soloman and enjoys his company.

😻Last but not least, Elsie! She is a darling 5 month old who is ready to find her forever home. She is an active girl and seems to enjoy other cats. She would be a perfect addition to any home.
