As we come together to celebrate Independence Day, let’s also remember the well-being of our four-legged companions.

According to national statistics, animal control officials report a 30%–60% increase in lost pets between July 4th and 6th. In fact, July 5th is one of the busiest days of the year for animal shelters.

Fireworks and festivities can be overwhelming for pets, but with a few simple precautions, we can help keep them safe and sound.

I think someone thought he was a stray, tried to keep him, and he escaped. he has demanded cuddles, loves, and pets since he has been home, and the whole household could not be happier that he has returned."

"I was contacted by this family, telling me that our kitty was sitting outside her house (about 20-25 mins away where she was lost, this time with a different collar and no tag/info) then following morning she was still there so she took her to Petco to scan the microchip and found out info. We were so thrilled she’s found safe and okay, just a day before her First birthday! My kids are so happy to have her back."
