you doubt we could be that great, ask the dog or read our testimonials. 99% of all dogs that visit us, will drag their owners in the door from our parking lot or will start crying when they turn onto our street… Trust your dogs, they know best!! We offer Dog Boarding - Daycare - Spa & Grooming - Exclusive Training Services. All dogs that come to our facility must attend our Free Greet & Treat, why? Because more time than not, we are selected by parents because of word of mouth, reviews or they merely passed by our facility and trust us, we appreciate it. However, we will only allow the dog to tell us if they like here or not. From the moment the dog in, to the moment they leave, we evaluate everything… Why, because if they don’t like all of us and all we do and how we do it, then chances are they won’t always feel comfortable or may experience elevated anxiety and that is just not fair to them. We are transparent with parents because we would rather know they are down the road at a competitor thriving than being here and not fully enjoying all our amenities. We know and accept that our facility and our ways are not for all dogs, and we hope too that their parents do as well. Our Free Greet & Treat is required for any dog wishing to use any of our services. Why, because we want to be sure that every dog visiting is a safe dog and that they will behave themselves when they are here for any of our services. From Doggie Daycare to Boarding (Overnight / Extended Stay), Grooming & Spa services and Training, our 11,000 square foot facility is the largest climate controlled pet play yard in the Wixom area.

We strive to provide the highest level of quality safety, care and attention to every dog and their owners

Our facility design and procedures stress: Safety - Health - Cleanliness - Fun - Exercise

All boarding reservations include daycare, so we encourage you to bring your dog in the morning to socialize and get acclimated before their bedtime.

Services: Dog Daycare - Overnight Boarding - Specialized Grooming & Spa - Training Services which include; Lodge and Learn Services - Daycare Refresher Training - One-on-One Playtime Activities - Group Play for Approved Pets - Special Care and Puppy Care - Custom Meals as prescribed by owners, Feedings and Medication Dispensing - Same Household Pets Stay Together - Business / Hygiene Walks - Gourmet Stuffed Kong Treats - Gourmet Ice Cream Treats and other Gourmet Treats that are yummy for your dog.

FREE GREET & TREAT DAY - Still hesitant about bringing your dog in for daycare or boarding? Well, the solution is simply to visit It’s A Dog’s Life and let us evaluate your dog. We use this day not only to evaluate how well your dog will assimilate but it also gives us a chance to see: - How social your dog is - What kind of temperament he/she has - How your dog connects with others. It also affords your pet the opportunity to acclimate to our building - our team members and our other guests. We use a controlled environment where your dog is introduced to a variety of stimuli individually - not all at once. By doing this, we get a more in-depth understanding of your dog’s norms and social behavior, allowing us to place him/her in a group that is the safest and most engaging for them. When the Trial Day is finished, we provide you with the information that was gathered and let you know how your dog did. Your dog may not like our facility, the other pets or the way we operate, that is ok. We would rather help you find another facility or solution than to have your pet in our environment and they not thrive. Your dog’s health and safety is our number one priority, and we understand that may mean we aren’t a fit for them - and we will be sure to tell you such.
