Part of being responsible for these beasts is giving monthly Heartworm, Flea, and Tick prevention. We are seeing more and more ticks in this area as well as having warmer winters. Mosquitoes transmit Heartworm disease and are living through the winter now :( Year round prevention is recommended. 🐾
