February is National Pet Dental Health Month 🦷
A month to raise awareness of the importance of oral health for pets.

Dental problems can lead to or be caused by other health problems. Regular dental care can help pets maintain a full set of teeth and a pain-free mouth.

Our last recommendation this month is to book an appointment with your veterinarian for a dental check!

Your pet’s teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by your veterinarian for early signs of problems and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy.

What can your veterinarian do during a dental cleaning?

🐾 Scale your pet's teeth
🐾 Polish your pet's teeth
🐾 Apply fluoride, antibiotic preparations, or cleaning compounds
🐾 Check for other dental issues

Dental problems can lead to or be caused by other health problems. Regular dental care can help pets maintain a full set of teeth and a pain-free mouth!

Give your pet dental diets, chew treats, and chew toys to help fight dental problems.

Pet rats benefit from having companionship and rat pet owners are encouraged to keep them in pairs or small groups to ensure that they lead happy, healthy lives. If you only have one rat it is encouraged that you dedicate a lot of time with it.

UPDATE: We want to thank the community for identifiying these teens, and their parents for bringing them in and holding them accountable. They have done some community service around the store to help pay back the things they stole. Do you recognize us? We decided to work together and use our backpack as a personal shopping cart (and skipped the register of course)

Do you know me? Last night at 6:30 I decided to casually walk away with an entire cart full of dog food 😢

Do you recognize this person? Instead of checking out, they decided to shove 3 different coats into their bag 🥲 There is a better photo of them in the comments!

Please don’t be like these people, who abandoned 3 fish tanks outside our store, one of which had about an inch of water and 20 fish and frogs. Don’t worry, they are safe now on and their way to a proper home! Before abandoning any animal, please reach out so we can try and take them in, or help find someone who can.
