The Prince William County Animal Services Bureau is hosting a rabies vaccine clinic on Sunday, May 5. $10/pet. Look for the PAW Express Mobile Adoption Van in the gravel parking lot. Cash only. Proceeds benefit the Prince William SPCA.

Echo and Koda are searching for their furever families for Christmas. Echo (left picture/floppy ears) is a sweet gal, spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, house trained and crate chained. She is full of energy and is protective of her family. Echo would be best in a home where she is either the only pup or her fur sibling is not a puppy. Koda (right side/straight ears) is a super sweet, shy, gentle boy. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, house trained and crate trained. Their Christmas wish is to have a family for Christmas. Both are currently located with their foster family in Richmond Virginia.

Echo was our last pull with her brother Koda. Pulled from a rural shelter in Nueces County she arrived in Richmond Virginia on October 22. Echo is current on vaccines and heartworm negative. She will be spayed on November 17. Echo is super friendly and outgoing. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog or with an older dog that she can not dominate. Echo is super sweet and friendly but is cautious of men. For more information please email [email protected]

Abby (Delilah) and Pinto have an opportunity to start a new life in Massachusetts…… however the cost to get them there due to strict regulations is more than we can cover. Transport is $583 and health exam and health certs are $765. Any amount helps. Please help us help them get to their furever homes!

This is handsome Koda. He and his sister, Echo, were our last pulls. They arrived from Texas on October 22 and are with their foster in Richmond VA. Their foster is amazing and has been working hard to get them acclimated. Koda is shy but does love pets and affection. He also loves toys and to run around. Koda is current on vaccines and will be neutered on Nov. 17. He will need a patient and loving adopter who will give him the time he needs to decompress and feel comfortable.

We are looking for a foster or adopter for Pinto (tan) and Abby. Both get a long great with other dogs and are super sweet. They are fixed and current on vaccines. Not bonded and can be fostered/adopted separately.

Kylie was our very first pull…….turns out she was very feral……. She arrived in Virginia in March and the volunteer transport group were wonderful with her. Today for the first time she assumed the position for a belly rub and we gave her tons!!

Pinto is looking for his furever family…… or a foster……. Or foster to adopt. He is a black mouth cur mix, 8 months old, approx 35 pounds, current on vaccines, and is neutered. Pinto is super sweet and gets along great with other dogs. He was rescued from a rural shelter in Texas that was at max capacity and going to start euthanizing. He is shy at first and cowers at sudden movements…… but once he realizes you are just moving your arm to pet him he lets you and will lick your hand too. Please message me if interested.

Due to extenuating circumstances and a heavy heart we are shutting down our precious rescue. We are honoring the commitments to the dogs we currently have in the rescue...Charlie, Luna, Pinto, Belle, Abby, Brady, Harley, and Apollo. It has been quite the journey.
