🌟 Happy New Year 🌟

As we sail into 2025, we’re filled with gratitude for the friendships, adventures, and memories shared on the water this past year. From sunny cruises to festive dockside events, each moment has been a reminder of what makes our community so special.

Here’s to calm seas, endless sunsets, and many more adventures together in the year ahead! 🛥️✨

Thank you for being a part of our boating family—together, we make every day on the water unforgettable. Cheers to a bright and beautiful 2025! 🥂⚓

Last night was absolutely magical as we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Christmas Boat Lighting at Prince William Marina! 🎄🚤

A huge THANK YOU to all of our members who participated—you made the night truly special. The creativity and effort put into decorating the boats was incredible! From twinkling lights to festive themes, every single one was a masterpiece.

Congratulations to all of the winners—you earned it with your amazing designs! And what a treat it was to have Santa, Mrs. Claus, and even the Grinch join us for the festivities. They brought so much holiday cheer to an already unforgettable night.

It was so wonderful to see all of our members and slip holders come together to keep this wonderful tradition alive. Here’s to 25 years of holiday magic and many more to come!

Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season. Looking forward to next year’s celebration! 🎅🎁

On this Veterans Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women within our boating community and beyond who have served our country. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifices have granted us the freedom we cherish, allowing us to enjoy the waters and the lives we hold dear.

As we gather on and off the water and alongside friends, let’s remember that the peace and joy we experience are gifts made possible by your service. From every wave we sail upon to every safe harbor we reach, we honor the legacy of commitment you have shown.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your unwavering strength. Today, we celebrate you, and every day, we remain profoundly grateful.

Our Bay adventures for 2024 have officially come to a close. We just returned from our final long trip of the season, and what a fantastic weekend it was! Thirteen boats joined the journey, with one more member arriving by land. We definitely missed those that weren’t able to make the trip.

This weekend, we spent four days on Solomons Island filled with fun and adventure. We enjoyed delicious food and drinks, and most importantly, treasured the time spent with family and friends—both old and new.

A huge thank you to Spring Cove Yacht Club for their warm hospitality and for hosting a fantastic Happy Hour on Friday evening. We’re excited about future collaborations with them and look forward to welcoming SCYC to our area soon.

Thank you to everyone who came and made this weekend such a success. Special thanks to the Lisa Limo for getting us around town and to Mike and his notecards for keeping our dinner reservations organized.

This past Saturday we put on our Annual Seafood Boil and Founders Day event. We had nearly 200 in attendance between our members and their guests. We feasted on crab legs, mussels, shrimp and much much more!

Thank you to everyone that stepped up to volunteer from early morning set up, cooking and serving food to the late night tear down. Without you all none of this would have been possible. A huge Thank You to Prince William Marina for their support and help to make the day successful as well as the swag the provided for the raffle!

We had a great treat this year with the Mister Softee DMV Ice Cream truck. Marcel was amazing and served 130 cones, cups and sundaes in an hour!! Everyone was beyond excited when he pulled up… I believe a few may have been pushing to get to the front of the line. lol

Another weekend, another fantastic trip with PWYC! This past weekend, we explored the Potomac and sailed into the Bay, heading to St. Michaels, MD. It was the largest group of boats and yacht club members we've ever had venture into the Bay. By the end of the weekend, we had 14 boats and 7 more who drove out to join us. Impressively, many of the 14 boats were making their first trip into the Bay—a significant achievement. Thankfully, the Bay was calm and cooperative!

The staff at St. Michaels Marina were welcoming and very helpful in getting everyone settled. It's an excellent place to dock for a day or more, with a short walk into town where we enjoyed everything St. Michaels has to offer.

A huge THANK YOU to Foxy’s Harbor Grille for accommodating us with a Welcome Happy Hour on Friday night and a delicious dinner on Saturday. We highly recommend them, and it's a bonus that they are located on the marina grounds.

Another great weekend with the Yacht Club in the books. This weekend we headed up to Three Sisters in DC. Our backdrop was Georgetown University. The weather was perfect, water was calm and refreshing and most importantly the company was fantastic. Thanks to everyone that joined and helped with the many things that were needed throughout the weekend… which ranged from bringing parts to fix a genny to get some much needed AC to friends catching a ride to get to us and much more! This is what it’s all about!!

Happy Fathers Day to all of our PWYC dads out there. We spent this past weekend in Colonial Beach. This was by far our largest on water event. We had 25 boats join and others come down by car for the festivities. The weekend consisted of a wonderful Happy Hour at Dockside sponsored by Prince William Marina, catered breakfast Saturday (Thanks Lenny’s) and dinner at El Toro. Most wrapped up the weekend on Sunday at the car show in town.

A special THANK YOU to Carlton, Debbie and Michele for Happy Hour and always supporting the Yacht Club. We wouldn’t be here without you!!

Looking forward to our next trip in a few short weeks.

Thank you to everyone who came out to honor and celebrate Prince William Marina and their employees. We are so thankful for all of them. Without the support of the Marina and their employees we would be what we are as a Yacht Club and wouldn’t be able to continue to do what we love through the summer.
