Happy Homes Dog Daycare and Training Dog Daycare, positive reinforcement training and boarding I teach you how to teach your dog through positive methods using clicker training.

Private classes can be held here or in your home. If your pet (dog or cat) has a behavior problem, I also offer consultations for that as well. If you're not sure what kind of dog to get or what to look for when picking out a puppy, then a prepurchase consultation would be a good idea.

New faces and snow day fun!

Everyone loves the snow and zoomed around all day!

Welcome Tigger and Star to Happy Homes! They started day school this week and have been very social and doing great!

Gus vacationed with us for a few days while mom and dad were away. He's such a giant, sweet guy!

Lincoln's birthday was last week! Happy birthday Lincoln!

Some of you are probably out partying tonight but I am home curled up like little Spencer here! No matter how you celebrate, we hope everyone has a happy, healthy and safe new year! As we close out 2024, I wanted to thank every one of my clients for your business and support! Thank you for trusting us with your furry family members! Also thanks to my employees who worked so hard this year and absolutely love your dogs more than you know.

Yesterday we celebrated Kero's fourth birthday! She brought a cake in for all her friends. Of course we let her get a first taste! Happy birthday Kero!

Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful, as always, for our amazing clients and their dogs! You have helped us continue to grow over the last six years! Of course, I am personally thankful for my amazing employees who went above and beyond this year. They ran things when I couldn't be there, they make sure your dogs are having fun and being safe, they keep everything as spotless as possible! I would never be able to run the business without them. Hope everyone has a happy and peaceful thanksgiving and start to the holiday season!

We are also wishing Brinkley a very happy first birthday! She brought in cookies for all her friends!

We will be closed tomorrow, Thursday through the weekend, reopening Monday morning. We will have scheduled drop offs and pick ups for boarding.

Dino started school this week! After finally finding food he likes (who knew it was going to be so difficult!) he is working hard and learning!

Toy time fun today!

Filbert is one of our new puppy school dogs! He is doing so well! He's so smart and loves to play...but he does get a bit overstimulated! We are working on that too.

We started offering baths. Today we gave our first one to our not totally willing volunteer Pete! He was so brave and did really well. Good boy Pete!

Rusty has his first day with us this week! He was a bit nervous at first but relaxed and had a great day soon after meeting all his new friends!

We are collecting food for the Ansonia animal shelter. They are dealing with an abuse case in which 11 dogs and 3 cats were taken in. They are asking for:
Minute rice
Canned chicken
Pedigree ground chicken
Busy bones

I'm sure any dog and cat food would help!

We had a couple other additions to our group last week as well. Meet Penny and Lucy. They are both very sweet. Penny is a bit high energy and loves the water plopping down in the pool whenever she gets a chance.

Lucy is a bit more refined....she's an older lady who prefers to watch everyone play rather than get involved...but that might change with time!
