GSVS Woodbridge is excited to announce that Dr. Max White will be expanding our Cardiology Service by offering appointments at the Woodbridge location on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Dr. White is a board certified veterinary cardiologist that has been with the GSVS family since 2019. If your pet needs to see a cardiologist, please call for an appointment. Our emergency doctors are available 24 hours a day without an appointment and can consult with Dr. White if needed.

Peewee is happy to be going home with his family after his visit to Garden State Veterinary Services in Woodbridge. Peewee presented to the ER in a respiratory crisis due to severe tracheal collapse which resulted in an upper airway obstruction. After he was stabilized by the Emergency Department, the Internal Medicine team was able to place a tracheal stent to relieve the obstruction. Thankfully, he is breathing much more comfortably, and our entire team wishes him the best as he continues to recover!

Collaboration has always been an instrumental part of patient care at GSVS, and Jaspur’s case is a perfect example of how this leads to the best outcome. Due to a sudden illness, Jaspur was evaluated and admitted to the hospital by our emergency service and diagnosed with kidney failure. After his initial stabilization, he was transferred to the Internal Medicine team where he was found to have an obstructed right ureter and chronic kidney disease. The GSVS-Woodbridge surgery department, in collaboration with the radiology service, then placed a subcutaneous ureteral bypass (“SUB”) to relieve the obstruction. Jaspur’s post-operative care was coordinated again with the Internists, and Jaspur is now back home with his family doing well! We will continue to monitor Jaspur’s progress and wish him and his family the best as he continues to recover.
