The last Seeley video. This is teaching him scent work with egg cartons. This is only his 4th training session. Me thinks he likes it! And is very short!
Progress report on Seeley and his bowl work. Short video. Kizzie makes yet another appearnce!
so on my day off I play with my dogs. Dressed super casual. So it's Seeley getting trained to get up on the bowl. We just started ten minutes before I decided it would be fun to video watching him learn. The bowl has many uses in my dog world. But most importantly it's just another thing for him to puzzle out and learn that if he does this he gets rewarded. He already tosses his downs out all the time. As a matter of fact we had to work thru that in the very beginning because he was sure that was what I wanted! As you will see in the video,!pops! Oh, and Kizzie makes a few appearances!
Blueberry hunting before the snow storms! Seeleys first time eating and hunting blueberries!
A really badly shot video (I did it holding a leash.) The other two didn't help!. But, this is phase two of Gentle leader training. He was introduced to it a few days ago. Now I want him to move into his pressure. Not away from it. He is cute though!
Last one, the funny one! He is sure there is another puppy in that mirror!
Sits and downs! Seeley style!
Here is Seeley's puppy recall! yes, it works outside too!
We did some fun, short videos with Seeley. Choose to heel, recalls, sir, down, stand and a funny, who is in the mirror segment! Enjoy! Michael helped too!
I train whenever the opportunity arises! We have been working on 12 week Seeley offering a down so I can label it. Also, this helps him with his problem solving skills. Yep, training a puppy in your pajamas could be a new class!! LOL. Also, Kizzie wants in on the treats!!
Hey All! I pulled out my old laptop (computer isn't working for videos) and did this video. It's on the benefits of teaching your dog (any dog!) to fetch and retrieve. Yes, I'm doing a workshop on that the end of January (you can find it on our website school calendar under workshops). But, I think you'll like this explanation of the why all dogs should play this fun game with you! Enjoy and call me if you want to join the workshop! 651 704 9785
Puppy 5. Axel! A young team to watch for in the future!
Puppy 2! Sweet Hazel is tired! But she did great, and shows lots of agility potential!
Had a wonderful little PK agility 2 hr workshop today. We got 7 pieces of equipment taught and got some run thru's done as well! These pups are 4 to 5 months old. They are from my Saturday PK class and came to play in our "pilot " class. Tired puppies, jumps were 4 to 6 inches. I am posting all 5 of these runs. This first one is Vinnie!
Today's Saturday PK class was so awesome. Week 5 today. We did leash walking, and recalls. Then we decided the rest of the hour would be playing with scent games, using mini Sombreros and egg cartons! Searching for food is so fun! Then free play. And now rest! This is an awesome class. Sad to see it end next week!
Just a reminder we have a pack walk on Saturday(scroll down to see post with details!). Looks like Temps will ne in the 70's...sweet! Lots of fun! Lots of sniffy time! 3 spots left. Call me! Video is just a fun little Dewie video when he was a pup!
The water dance
Meant to water the flowers, but watered the dog instead! He loved it! Put up your volume!
