Last night we welcomed *113* dogs to rescue. Many of our intake team got home around between 12am-4:30am, and many of the same amazing people are back at it today this morning. Fueling everyone's energy is the drive to help these deserving souls, and the giant teamwork effort to help welcome this many to rescue motivates the soul. This many deserving lives, in one night, forever changed.
We are still in need of committed and approved fosters for many of our deserving last minute arrivals. Please email your FM if you can help! If you are interested in joining our foster team we would be thankful to hear from you- our foster process is on our Coco's Heart website.
We are hoping to raise funding to help put towards the care of this many dogs at once. Many are in "okay shape" physically, many in sad shape emotionally, and many are in really sad shape physically AND emotionally. Our hydrocephalus puppy is one example of the extra care these sweet souls will need tended too.... Matted, f***s and urine covered, battling pneumonia, and the list goes on. Our goal is to raise $200/dog which totals $22,600. A huge number, but this is a huge number of animals where your support truly, truly matters. Our veterinary team will be working all day through tending to the highest needs.
