With the heaviest heart, we share the passing of the Richard S. Mahmood “Rib King” on December 6th, 2023. His deep love for his family shined bright, his laugh traveled seas and his warm smile embraced everyone. Rick made friends everywhere he went with his playful, outgoing personality and was loved by many.

His wife Cheryl and the Mahmood family want to thank everyone for the outpouring support. He was so proud of Greater American Ribs and loved getting to know so many of you.

Hey Greater American Facebook fans.

We want to ask you for a favor. I was out working retail and people are coming in and telling me where they are bringing our ribs to this holiday weekend. So far I’ve heard Andover, Leech Lake ( tradition every year ), Hayward and all the way to Superior.

So it got me thinking if you would be so kind to tag us Greater American Ribs in a post or picture from where you are eating our ribs it would mean a lot to us .

We take pride in being a family company and our retail customers have become our family over the last 20 years so thank you. Hope everyone has a wonderful but safe holiday weekend.
