Enrichment reload sundays!!!

This took me about 25 minutes to complete. Maybe less if I was in a big hurry. This will be my saving grace for when my busy work week starts. Enrichment feeders like this has helped me maintain harmony and calm energy when I'm super busy working. Given once per day or every other day my boys will get this type of enrichment feeder. Other days will utilize scent work of some kind. Our training in building into our regular everyday schedule, just before breakfast and dinner.

Luna and Oxford, started today with private sessions to work on their reactivity towards new people and dogs inside and around their home. High pitch stressful continuous barking at a new stimulus (sound or thing) that happens. We got right to work on redirecting the behavior, teaching marker words that build positive associations, sit with implied stay, and eye contact with their names. Training along with a physically enriching schedule will get these babies on the right track and give their owners some much needed relief!

Congratulations, River!

River has completed her 3 week Board and Training program with us. River's owners reached out for off-leash help as they have several acres of land. The perfect place to go walking with the dogs off-leash. While training River learned off-leash obedience skills like: recall "Come", directional change "This way", heel position and heel walking "With me", extended sit/stay and down/stay, "Place", and "wait" for food, doors, and gates.

😍Is this not the cutest family photo!😍

Nala has finishes up her 3 week Board and training for off-leash obedience training last week. This sweet girl has the new skills of advance sit/stay, down/stay, come when called off leash, heel off leash, extended place, and the boost of confidence to go out in the world's. Nala also learned some new fun skills of: "touch", "ready catch", and "find it" to help make fun associations with new places where it would normally be very scary. We are so pleased with Nala's training and excited to see her grow!

Congratulations Roxie!

Roxie has completed her 3 week Board and training program. We are very proud of her progress and can say we have gotten some really great updates now that she is home. Roxie's new skills of taking treats easier, settling an over excited body, building up her impulse control, and refreshing up her basic obedience commands will make it easier for her parents to live with her. 😊

Maddie is all cleaned up and has left the building! Her owners show me a video of her back home with her housemates and she is so happy to be home.

We are so proud of our sweet timid Maddie, she has made alot of great progress in her training. Cheers to the New Year New You Maddie! 🥳

Hello Christmas puppy parents!

We have been gathering information for a fun informational post on vet care cost for the 1st year of a puppies life. We were able to get estimates from 3 vet clinics in the area! Thank you to the clinics for participating in our post.

We hope this helps put into perspective on what you should save up for vet care. This does not include getting sick or hurt, just the basic vet care.

Nala and Clara Belle are putting in the work together for distraction training with another dog. Both girls are a multi dog house hold, practicing together alway help set them up for success when they go home!

Nala's getting ready to finish up her last week with us. She has made so much progress, even more than this 3 minutes video can show.

Nala is working on her off-leash obedience training with the Mini Educator ecollar. Through our training program we work at the lowest level the dog can feel as a communication system. Think of it as a small tap on the shoulder to get your attention.
