Today we’re celebrating the cutest and fluffiest bundles of joy — Kittens! 🐱 Whether you’re a proud kitten parent or just love their playful, curious energy, we can’t get enough of these tiny furballs.
Here are a few tips for raising a happy, healthy kitten:
✨ Socialization is Key: Start introducing your kitten to different people, environments, and experiences early on to help them grow into a confident adult cat.
🧼 Keep Them Clean: Make sure your kitten is staying clean, especially if they’re just starting out with litter training. Regular grooming helps keep their coat soft and healthy.
🦷 Proper Nutrition: Growing kittens need high quality food to support their development. Speak with us about the best food options for your kitten’s age and breed.
💉 Keep Up with Vet Visits: Kittens need a series of vaccinations to stay healthy and protected from illnesses. Be sure to schedule their first vet appointment if you haven’t already!

Everybody Deserves a Massage Week: Pamper Your Pet!

This week, let’s show our pets some extra love with the power of massage! Pet massage isn’t just relaxing — it also comes with a variety of benefits that can help your furry friend feel their best:
✨ Stress Relief & Relaxation: A gentle massage can help your pet unwind, especially if they’re anxious or nervous during thunderstorms, fireworks, or after a long day. It’s a wonderful way to calm them down!
💪 Muscle & Joint Health: Regular massages can help improve circulation, ease tight muscles, and reduce joint stiffness, which is especially helpful for senior pets or those with arthritis.
🔍 Early Detection of Lumps & Bumps: While you’re massaging your pet, keep an eye (and hand!) out for any unusual lumps, bumps, or changes on their body. Early detection of new growths can lead to early treatment.

Remember, the key is to be gentle and follow your pet’s comfort level. Start with small, light strokes and see how they respond!

Zoonoses are diseases that can be transmitted between animals and humans. They can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
Common examples include rabies, Lyme disease, and even certain types of parasites like ticks or fleas.
🦠 Why should you care?
While zoonoses are relatively rare, they can be serious. That’s why it’s so important to keep your pets healthy with regular vet visits, vaccinations, and parasite prevention. By doing so, you're not only protecting your pets but the rest of your family as
well!
👉 How can you reduce the risk?
Wash your hands after handling pets, especially those that spend time outdoors.
Keep up with regular vet check-ups and parasite prevention treatments.
Ensure your pets' vaccinations are up to date. By staying informed, we can all do our part to prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases!

The Fourth of July is all about fun, food, and fireworks—but it can be a stressful (and even dangerous) time for our pets. Here are a few quick tips to keep your furry family members safe this holiday:
🍔 Grill with care – Keep pets away from BBQs and picnic tables. Many human foods (like onions, grapes, and bones) are toxic or dangerous.
🎆 Fireworks fear is real – Set up a quiet, comfy space indoors and play calming music or white noise. If your pet needs a little extra help relaxing, try a distracting new treat or toy.
🌊 Water safety – Not all dogs are natural swimmers! Use life vests and always supervise your pets around pools, lakes, or beaches.
🏷 ID, please! – Make sure your pet's tags and microchip info are up to date in case they get spooked and bolt.
Have a safe and happy holiday!

💡 It’s Insurance Awareness Day! 💡
When it comes to your pet’s health, being prepared for the unexpected can make all the difference. Pet insurance helps cover medical expenses, giving you peace of mind knowing that your furry friend will always get the care they need, no matter the situation, but it is a little different than health insurance for people -
here’s how it works:
1.Choose a plan: There are many options available that cover everything from routine
care to emergencies and everything in between. Research insurance options, providers, and work with an insurance representative to make sure you are getting
exactly what you want!
2.Visit your vet: Your pet gets the care they need, and you pay the bill up front.
3.Submit a claim: After your visit, submit the claim to your insurance provider, and they’ll reimburse you for eligible expenses!
If you haven’t already, consider looking into a pet insurance plan to ensure your pet stays healthy without breaking the bank! 🐾💙

🎆 July 4th is just around the corner! 🎇
As we get ready to celebrate, it’s important to remember that fireworks can be stressful for our furry friends. If your pet needs extra support during the festivities, now’s the time to start preparing!
✔️ Start using Adaptil or Feliway: These calming pheromones work best when introduced early.
✔️ Refill medications: If your pet has a prescription for anxiety, be sure to call in for
refills ASAP to avoid last-minute stress.
✔️ Schedule an appointment: If your pet was particularly frightened last year, we
can discuss additional options to help them feel more comfortable.
Let’s work together to make sure your pet stays safe and stress-free during the
fireworks. 🎇🐾
