Hi Friends,
Please share this to your Seattle friends!
We are reaching out to those who are looking to volunteer with your dog. You
may be interested in volunteering for Reading with Rover, a local therapy dog program that supports our community, especially children. It's such a rewarding program and it also is a great way to help your dog stay trained!
Being a Reading with Rover volunteer therapy dog team allows you and your dog to participate at libraries and schools helping children become more confident readers. You can also visit assisted living homes, hospitals and more. It's a great way to spend time with your dog and help your community. We need more Reading with Rover teams. We have a 6 week class starting Wednesday January 15th 1 pm. This class prepares you to take the Reading with Rover test.
If your dog has good basic skills, can stay at your side when passing another dog, and of course likes people, you are more than welcome to take the class. If you would like to do a meet and greet prior to be sure of your readiness please email me, I'm happy to do a quick evaluation regarding your dogs readiness. Enrollment on our group class page www.puppymanners.com
You can read more about Reading with Rover at www.readingwithrover.org
Best regards and we hope you will join us!
