Woodinville Pride is this Saturday, 12-5! The weather looks to be pretty darn perfect, and this is an amazing and growing event.

I'm looking for helpers this year, especially for setting up and taking down my booth. I'm recovering from Pnemonia, doing well, but should take it easy with lifting. If you think you can help, I've created a google sheet for signups... I really appreciate any support and look forward to seeing folks.

It’s show and tell for our last day of class. Always exciting for newbies and returning students alike.

These 4 mugs came out, reminding me of an ocean wave retreating. A student held one and said they would perfect for beer, paused, and then asked “ just how much coffee DO you drink?”

I accidentally snorted, laughing, and said “ more than how much beer I drink”.

These 4 mugs would be a perfect set and are one-of-a-kind due to unique firing conditions. For sale, $25 or $80 for the set.

From clay to coin ( or chip) these momentos go through quite a journey!

These were out if the kiln yesterday and painted today. They are drying, waiting to be flipped and a final spray of glaze.

Can you spot the first chips used with my new “WELCOME” stamp? Or my new 10 minute chip?

Some may ask, “whats the point if 10 minute chips”? I have a few reasons for keeping these on hand…. In early stages of changing any behavior, if you can make it 10 minutes past a trigger/craving/impulse, you can probably make it through. Someone might have a hard time putting 24 hours together, so 10 minutes can be an achievement. For me it’s a great reminder of living in the moment and staying grounded. What could you do with 10 minutes?

I’m leaning into a new project…. Making recovery chips to honor sobriety time or other milestones 🙂

There is a shortage of companies manufacturing recovery coins, so im willing to give it a shot!

I’m currently making ceramic chips/coins with “MA” on the back (Ma*****na Anonymous), but can stamp the clay with nearly anything ( that will fit!). I have permission to use the MA logo and expect to have customized stamps soon.

I have the following chips in black amd white clay:
