Our Daycare crew enjoying the last of the seasons pool days and summer air. Luna and Haven watched the pool get put up with sad eyes. Nate didnt care since he thinks the water is lava. The rest of the pack are happy just hanging with one another.

🐾🐾🐶 Please Welcome Dr. Kimberly Mayer !🐱🐾🐾

Dr. Kimberly Mayer was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs of Illinois. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois in 2005 and went on to graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 2010.
After graduation, Dr. Mayer joined the staff at River Heights Animal Hospital in Oswego, Illinois, where she served as an associate veterinarian for over a decade. In 2024, Dr. Mayer made the significant decision to relocate to Colorado, bringing her extensive experience and compassionate care to the Animal Medical Center of Woodland Park in June this year.
Dr. Mayer has a profound interest in surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care. She takes great pride in positively impacting the lives of animals and their owners, establishing strong, caring relationships with her patients and their families. Although it was a challenging decision to leave her close-knit community in Illinois, Dr. Mayer is excited about the opportunities in Colorado.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mayer enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and son, exploring the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. Her favorite activities include hiking, boating, and rafting. She is also an animal lover at home, sharing her life with a Bernese Mountain Dog named Monty and two cats, Munchkin and Princeton.

Her besties had a great time playing chase with her early this morning and sharing birthday pup cupcakes.

The field of view covers what can be seen straight ahead, to the side, below, and above where the gaze is focused. Felines have an awesome visual field! 🐾🥰 Tuiren 🥰🐾

Tuiren is in training. Look at that concentration in those lovely soulful eyes! She is adorable isn't she? Her name comes from an Irish legend. It is about a woman of beauty who was turned into a hound, not just any hound, but a beautiful and skilled hunter.

Tuiren is going to be trained and will be a wonderful bird dog. She has the luck of the Irish for sure, her home will be with two amazing pet parents! The name, just perfect I think 😊

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO NATHAN!! We enjoy Nathan in daycare and his constant happy attitude! He loves fetch, play-wrestling with any dog who wants to join, and is overall a bundle of joy!
His birthday is the end of this month. 🥰
