Our Story

Woodland Stallion Station is an Equestrian Center located just minutes from the Sacramento Airport in Woodland, California. Founded in 1983, the Station originally designed as a reproductive center has grown into a premier reproductive, training, and show venue. Owner Keila Golden is a lifelong Arabian enthusiast currently showing in sport horse classes in Region 3. WSS hosts multiple rated events including USEA Horse Trials, hunter/jumper and dressage shows, driving events, warmblood inspections, and numerous clinics and demonstrations throughout the year.

Woodland Stallion Station is home to three trainers: USDF Silver Medalist Susan Garmierm, USDF Bronze Medalist Amanda Jarose, and Geneva Gonzales, who offer lessons and training in Dressage, Hunters, Jumpers, and Eventing. Trainers have a warm, encouraging style and develop lasting friendships with their clients.

Stallions currently standing at WSS include Dubarry, Donarweiss, and Escher DFEN of Eurequine, LLC, and the Morgan stallion Wintergreen Beaufort and the young Gypsy Vanner The Kingmaker. All stallion management is through Eurequine, LLC. Mare breeding and foaling out services are also available to make your breeding experience efficient, fun, and educational.
