🌞🐾 **Hot Asphalt Awareness for Dogs!** 🐾🌞

As the temperatures rise, it's crucial to be aware of the dangers hot asphalt poses to our furry friends. Did you know? 🧐

🔥 When the air temperature is:
- 70°F, the asphalt can reach 125°F (skin destruction in 60 seconds!)
- 86°F, the asphalt can soar to 135°F (an egg can fry in less than 5 minutes!)
- 87°F, the asphalt can get to a scorching 143°F

🚗 And remember, in just 5 minutes, an 85°F day can make the inside of your car heat to 102°F, and in 30 minutes, it can reach 120°F!

**Tips to Protect Your Pup:**
1. **Walk Early or Late:** Avoid walking during peak heat times. Early morning or late evening walks are best.
2. **Test the Pavement:** Place the back of your hand on the asphalt for 7 seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your dog's paws.
3. **Paw Protection:** Consider using dog booties to shield their paws from the heat.
4. **Hydration:** Always carry water for your dog to keep them hydrated.
