So true. This why the cruelty of factory dairy farms is so alarming. The practice separating Cow and Calf after birth is traumatic for both.

Baby cows need their mom's milk more than we do. 💚

This is the gorgeous Ava, who 's Marianne Yee adopted from Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters back in January 2008. At the time, she was estimated to be 2.5 years old and had already spent half a year in the shelter. Fast forward to now, and Ava’s been there through Marianne’s career, marriage (combining cat households!), and raising kids. Now 18+ years old, she’s still the heart of the household! 🐾❤️

Wonderful

We asked for storm fosters....and we got them....75 ANIMALS are riding out the storm in foster homes this weeked! 🎉🥳🎊 This means 75 less animals our staff has to care for to allow us to focus on the animals still here (staff is staying overnight to care for them), and we will have so many animals returning to us with excellent notes from in the home.

If you are a storm foster, don't forget - your adoption fee will be WAIVED if you fall in love! Thank you for your patience with us yesterday and today, and thank you for welcoming a shelter pet into your home! ❤️
