‼️‼️‼️‼️HELP‼️‼️‼️‼️
This is Honey! She’s 6 yrs old! FIXED & UTD on vax! She likes people, kids, dogs, but we’re not sure about cats. She loves people so much she always wants to be around them!
GPRRUM is paying her boarding fees in northern Utah and needs help replacing the funds $700! Her mommy wanted to get her back after the move but the place she was going to move to fell through. We need to find a foster home where she can stay until her mommy finds a new home.
To donate to her boarding fees you can send to Venmo @gprescuerum
To foster this beautiful girl please fill out our application at
https://gprescuerum.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7005
We are desperate to get her safe! Please help us!
Today was one of those days in rescue that hit hard, really really hard! I’ve had all the emotions. I’m so pissed that I’m about to lose it! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I’ve had enough!!!
Your reps and governor think this is okay!!! They think it’s okay to shoot a dog in the face and leave it to suffer!!! It’s disgusting!!! It’s legal here in Utah!!!
We need to blow up the emails of all the reps in Utah and the governor! We need news coverage! We need to get loud!
I’m sick and tired of watching these poor souls suffer at the hands of ranchers! This happens all too often!!!

Wes loves to play with his foster sister, Maisie, and follows her like a little shadow everywhere she goes!
The Rescue Show 7-14-2024
We have an interesting, but good show this week. Roman Gottfried will be here. Roman is the founder and owner of Roman’s Holistic Dog Training https://www.holisticdogtraining.org/
We love having Roman join us because we always learn something new. What makes this week’s show interesting is, we only have one dog coming on this week, and he has two names.
Iroh/Amos will join us from Utah. He’s believed to be around 2-3 years old, and GPRRUM took him in after he was found in the middle of nowhere and had suffered severe injuries including multiple gunshot wounds, many lacerations from fending off coyotes, and nearly starved to death weighing only 60 lbs. We’re pretty sure the coyotes didn’t shoot Iroh/Amos with guns because coyotes can’t hold a gun and pull the trigger without any thumbs. That means a person did this to Iroh/Amos, then most likely dumped him out there. In the state of Utah, dogs are your property, but working dogs are classified as livestock. That exempts working dogs from any animal protection laws that may be in place. So, what this person did to Iroh/Amos is most likely within Utah state law and do anything illegal. You can read more about Iroh/Amos on his web page: https://gprescuerum.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=20425526
We hope you can tune in and join us.

The Rescue Show 6-2-2024
We have some awesome dogs joining us this week. Do you like seniors? We’ll have two on this week. This week will be our 98th show since we created The Rescue Show. That means in two weeks, it will be our 100th show, should we do something special? Let us know.
Elijah will join us this week. This 9 year old senior was a GPRS alumni, but then his human mom passed away suddenly, so he had to be returned. Elijah needs a new home so he can live out his golden years filled with the love he so deserves. You can read all about him on his web page: https://www.greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=11804530
Yeti will be here from Utah. Yeti is around a year old and he’s an athlete, he can clear a 4’ fence with a single bound. He also loves to cuddle, is house trained and is great on a leash. You can read more about Yeti on his very own web page: https://gprescuerum.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=20414338
Frosty Bear will join us from Washington. Frosty Bear is around 2 years old and he’s a Pyr/Akbash mix. This boy has the best of both breeds in one great dog. His long legs are perfect for those lazy stretches when he's getting off the couch, and he's always ready to lean against his favorite humans for scratches and hugs. Read more about Frosty Bear on his web page: https://www.greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=18840987
Cotton will grace us with her presence. She’s about 10 ½ years old and she’s a victim of her human falling ill and no longer able to care for her. When Cotton came to her foster home, she was a little plump, and she wasn't particularly ecstatic about the diet she was placed on. But over time she has blossomed into a healthier version of herself, and it is evident she feels much better. Now sporting a trimmer figure, she wiggles with joy at mealtimes, showing off her happy dance when her bowl is filled. Seniors are the best! You can read all about Cotton on her web page: https://www.greatpyreneesre
Please help us get Savannah to safety! She is running out of time and needs immediate assistance or she will be at risk of being euthanized. We have shared this sweetheart before but we will keep sharing.
Savannah is a very sweet dog, but she has not been a huge fan of other dogs at the shelter. Therefore, she would need to be the only dog in her new home, at least initially. If you know someone who can help foster or adopt Savannah, or if you are that person, we can work together to save her.
Gary’s surgery day!
Big day for our Gary!! ❤️ He’s already out of surgery, has a long 7 weeks of recovery ahead but this was a good thing for him to finally have done. We look forward to showing videos of this big boy running without pain!
Huge thanks to his incredible foster family!! He’s in the best hands. ❤️
Thank you to all those who donate to our floofs and make things like this possible.
Save them!
Please fill out an application at gprescuerum.rescuegroups.org and help us save their lives!
Happy Friday! We are still working our tails off to pay for all our medical needs, Amos, Gary, Snow, and others! Please volunteer what you can or simply share!
🐾 Meet Margot, the one-year-old Great Pyrenees who is ready to find her forever home! 🏡
Margot's story began when she and her sister Jeannette were sadly abandoned in Brigham City, Utah. After a few days of exploring, they were taken to a shelter and are now being lovingly fostered in Washington state. Margot has quickly captured the hearts of her foster family, as she is one of the most affectionate dogs they have ever known. She's always there to shower you with hugs and kisses, and her love for people knows no bounds! ❤️
This gorgeous girl has a special affinity for goats and has the potential to become a fantastic Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD). But beware, Margot is a skilled escape artist and can clear a 5-foot fence with ease! So, if you're considering adopting her, make sure to have secure 6-foot fencing to keep her safe. 🐐🌿
Margot's social skills are top-notch, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She's always up for a playful romp and would make a fantastic companion for any canine friend. In fact, her foster mom has a hard time capturing clean pictures of Margot because she's always having too much fun playing! 🐾📸
While Margot has a natural instinct to chase cats and chickens, with proper training, she could learn to live harmoniously with them. So, if you have a feline or feathered family member, Margot might just be willing to adjust her chasing habits for the right home. 🐈🐓
Ideally, Margot's forever home would be on spacious acreage, where she can have the company of goats, other doggos, and a loving family that will shower her with endless love and attention. Don't forget the secure fences! 🌳🐶
Margot is currently being fostered near Portland, Oregon, but transportation can be arranged to nearby states. She's already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines, so she's all ready to become a cherished member of your family. With her lean and muscular 85-pound frame, Margot is a strong and at
Adopt Craig!
This is Craig. He’s a big puppy, he’s a year old. He is URGENTLY looking for a new foster or adopter.
Craig is very stressed in his current foster home. He’s been there with his brother Gary and while Gary’s very laid back temperament is ideal, Craig seems to be a bit more sensitive and struggles with the changes he’s faced with.
**Craig is looking for a calmer home, maybe 1 or 2 female dogs. Cats are fine. Kiddos are good. He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash.
Craig’s foster home situation is changing and he now he needs a home of his own!
If you’re a good fit for this sweet boy, please don’t wait to apply! He is currently with the Great Pyrenees Rescue Resources Utah Montana

Sheba
Sheba is guessed to be around 6 years old.
She absolutely adores people and can’t get enough attention!
She’s good with other dogs who are submissive and give her space. She encountered kittens recently and paid them no attention. She also doesn't understand her size so small animals should steer clear.
She is a certified fence jumper! She can clear a 6' vinyl fence! What an athlete, this girl is! Not to worry, she can easily be walked on a leash or put out on a zipline as long as she isn't left alone. She is a good girl in the home alone if you need to run errands!
She has been bounced around from home to home and in and out of shelters where she shuts down. We found her a temporary foster with moments left to get her safe and now she desperately needs a forever family!
This girl can't seem to catch a break and she needs her very own HERO! Are you going to be that HERO for her?

The Rescue Show 4-14-2024
This week, we have a new host starting. Please welcome Molly with the good ole Pyr Paw. Molly is a GPRS Screener, a foster, and an all-around nice person. If we’re nice to her, she just might let us get a glimpse of Julio. Molly also has some news about Julio, but you need to tune in for that. We have a great line up of dogs this week too.
Millie will join us. This 3 year old beauty queen isn’t quite ready yet but, Molly is fostering her, so why now bring her on? Millie and Julio hit it off from the start, it’s only been a week, but so far, so good. We’ll keep you informed.
https://www.greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org/
Jolene will be here. She’s around 2 ½ years old and is the definition of affection. Her current bio sums it up by saying: “They say smiles open doors, and Jolene is hoping her beautiful smile opens the door to your heart!” You can read more about her on her web page: https://www.greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=19896997
And we have puppies!
Qiana is about 3 months old. Her foster dad is a rambunctious explorer, she loves meeting new people and new dog friends. She was on the smaller side in the litter but is good eater and growing quickly. Qiana has her very own web page: https://www.greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=20291892
Qui-Gon is a sweetheart, a bit introverted and cautious, but will follow her sister or her foster siblings on an adventure. She has conquered the stairs and enjoys looking for good places to nap. Qui-Gon has her own web page too: https://www.greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=20292207
We sure hope you can tune in and join us.
