D&L Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary seeks to provide care for orphaned, abandoned, neglected and abused animals.

This will be accomplished thru rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and if needed providing sanctuary.

Meet Pugsly (Black/Red) and Chim Chim (Pink/White) also known as Wednesday. We had the honor of helping their momma bring these beautiful babies into the world one very cold night. This momma lost her first baby last January. We were on baby watch for two weeks this November when she blessed us with these two. Interesting fact: Pugsley (Boy) has not developed horns and is solid black. Chim Chim (Girl) is mostly white, with two horns -> one white and one black.

They are part of our sanctuary babies.

This is my mustang man! His name is Rhythm. We adopted him from our mentor rescue Trinity Equine Rescue. He was captured by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)in Nov 2011. He is 16 years old and is he sweetest guy a girl could ever have (Well...most of the time). Rhythm has a special story. Come to the ranch and meet him and together we will let you in on how we got together and our unique connection.

Gus is our 25 year old miniature donkey. Rescued 1 1/2 years ago, he's been given a sanctuary on our ranch. He's always looking for a good scratch, brushing and hug. If you visit our ranch, he'll be one of the firsts to greet you at the gate.

One of our very first rescues. His name is Moose. Runt of a feral litter who came to us with a respiratory illness. He's now living large at the sanctuary.
