Adoption Update

Oreo is now Roscoe. He is such a smart boy. He is almost potty trained, once in a while, he will have a p*e accident, but rare. He loves everyone and getting to know dogs. He goes to daycare once in a while. He loves to come to work with me and so excited to see all of the Northern Illinois University athletes at my job. He has been such a good dog for our family.

Oreos siblings are: Jelly Bean, Skittle, Kit Kat, Cinnamon, Lolly Pop, Snicker, Number Nine, Ginger Snap

Adoption Update

Kirby is now Cosmo.
Cosmo loves playing in the yard (especially now that the snow has fallen), chewing on toys (and everything), chasing his tail, and impressing us by learning new tricks.
He is currently working on stay, and it's coming along nicely, though he gets a bit wiggly if we move out of his field of vision.
He eats well. We still have him on Fromm.

Cosmo is potty trained, which tbh was more difficult than we anticipated because he doesn't signal vocally. But he has learned how to get our attention with only the occasional mishap or puppy-excitement at meeting new people.

We are so happy to say Crosby picked his people! He was found in a dilapidated 'home' with over 145 other dogs and needed to have his back leg ampuated.
Now he has his own loving home with 3 doggy siblings! He has 2 Chihuahua sisters to do Chi things with and a big brother dog named Nugget. He even has a fenced yard to play in. Thank you to our friends at Animal Rescue Corps for helping this special boy get a home!

Adoption Update

Louis is now Louie and is doing great!
He loves his humans so much and gets along so well with his doggy cousins. He lives for meal time and even loves to eat his vegetables! He is potty trained and does a great job of communicating when he needs to go out. He loves to play fetch with his stuffies. His favorite is to give his humans kisses and ear nibbles. He also loves to be curious with the kids and their toys.
He has been a blessing to our family and is the best boy!

Rickys name was changed to Gogurt (like the yogurt)!
She has integrated into our pack seamlessly. She gets along well with the other cats and loves the dog.

Gogurt is eating well and is potty trained.
Her favorite activities are playiny chase with her brother and sister and playing in paper bags ane boxes.
She's a big time cuddler and still shouts for attention constantly.

We adopted Cinnamon a few months ago. We love our sassy girl and she is absolutely loving every dog and person she meets. She fits in with our life, family, and friends so well. We are forever thankful for what you all do at the shelter.
