To Our South Cherokee Family,

We want to take a moment to acknowledge the recent changes at South Cherokee Veterinary. Dr. Beck parted ways with our practice in January. We know this may have came as a surprise to many of you, and while we wish we could share more, we want to respect privacy and focus on the future.

Along with Dr. Beck’s departure, a few of our longtime team members also chose to move on to new opportunities. We are incredibly grateful for the time we spent together and the care they provided to our clients and patients. We wish them all the success and happiness in their next chapter.

While change can be difficult, one thing remains the same—our deep commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care. Dr. Grasso, Dr. Hone, and a few of the familiar, friendly faces you know and trust are here to continue serving you and your beloved pets.

We also want to sincerely apologize for not addressing these changes sooner. We understand that uncertainty can be unsettling, and we appreciate your patience. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always here for you.

🐾 Litter Box Tips for a Happy, Healthy Cat: 🐾

Sarah had some skilled camera work to get this in focus! This is microfilaria, otherwise known as baby heartworms. Heartworms can cause permanent heart and lung issues, and since they are spread by mosquitoes, can be pretty bad here in Georgia. This is why we recommend heartworm prevention year round for our fur babies as well as annual testing!
