Day 3/last day of IASPHA Fall Horse Show!

Morning session begins at 9am and runs into the Walk/Trot Academy session (not to start before noon)

Last night's costume class did not disappoint! I think there was something a little "off" about the judge though! 🤔🤣🤦‍♀️

Trainers please remember not to stage trailers along Stabling building until you are ready to load & go. We have several barns that will be "bugging out" after the morning session. Be respectful and mindful of the Academy barns and their riders.

Good morning everyone!

What a great show last night!🤗 Loud and participating audience (in the Saddlebred world, it's a good thing 😊). Exhibitor party was delicious. Thanks to 31 North for catering (they are located in McHenry)

3rd and final day of Mid-America Signature Horse Show! Show starts at 9am with Performance Championships and just keeps rolling with a 30 minute break before W/T Academy session.

Doughnuts and coffee will be available before the show, outside the show office. 31 North will be manning the food trailer starting at 10am.

To trainers - please do not stage your trailers around the stabling building. Pull up & load when you and ALL your horses are done showing and you are ready to leave. Keep doorways and aisles clear for those still showing. Always leave space for traffic to flow. And the GOLDEN RULE: the lane around the outdoor arena is closed when the show is going on. There will be a 30minute break if you plan it out right!😉

Quite a few barns did our back-to-back shows, at least one barn has had 3 shows in a row, thinking a few may go to Cedarburg show next weekend, and a handful of barns get to "rest" before heading to Louisville, Kentucky for the World's Championship Horse Show (or simply referred to as the Green shavings!😍) Good luck to everyone and safe travels!😘

Good morning everyone!

What a great show yesterday! Hope you all enjoyed the competition and found the ice cream truck in the evening!😍 The mosquitoes 🦟 were relentless towards the end, but it didn't deter the crowd from enjoying the 5-gaited class! There is always some spray available at the coffee bar!

Day 2 of Mid-America Signature Horse Show:

Huge thanks to exhibitors and spectators for picking up any trash. Dolly and I inspected the arenas (photos of sunrise) and only found 2 water bottles. 🥳

Priority to keeping the horse fans going! Please, any extra lighting, appliances(coffee pots, microwaves, water filters, etc), and yes, even air conditioners should be turned off! If breakers keep popping, we will blow the main and have no electricity and no show.

Day 3 & Final Day of IASPHA Summer Show

Morning session starts at 9am and rolls into Academy W/T (not to start before 12 noon)

We had a great show yesterday! Nice classes and lots of spectators.

The retirement of CH Wicked in a Winning was was an added treat to the evening, both the dinner & the presentation.

Ok people, we are going to have a busy day! I predict the photo above to be full of cars by late morning (and it's the overflow lot!). Exhibitors and Spectators - PLEASE park like you "like" your neighbor! No "social distance parking!🙄

Trainers - don't pull your trailer to stabling until you are ready to pack-n-go!

Let's be respectful of barns still showing by keeping aisles and doorways clear for traffic.

The lane around the Outdoor Arena will be closed when the show is in session. Be aware of activity in the show ring!

OMG! Where did yesterday go? It was an excellent show day and a great turn-out of exhibitors and spectators!

Anyway . . . WELCOME to day #2 of IASPHA Summer Horse Show!

Morning session begins at 9am and rolls into W/T/C Academy session (not to begin before 12 noon).

Evening session begins at 6pm! (mosquito spray is highly suggested. The little bloodsuckers came out with a vengence the last 4 classes last night!

The Exhibitor party tonight is actually a retirement party for CH Wicked in a Winning Way. Listen for announcements and join us in celebrating this grand horse and his career!

Not to sound patronizing, but I am VERY excited about this show's parking habits (so far) 🥳🥰 Yes, there are few people/cars that can't seem to grasp the simple concepts of where to park & parking permits 😠🤬, but fear not my do-gooders, I will continue to troll the parking lots and have announcements made!
I would like to thank those who either moved or found their passes after announcements yesterday!😘

Ok, so we have had A LOT of rain, just like the rest of you! There is slight chance of rain in the future forecasts, but what do they know. We have many submerged, puddled, & muddy areas! The photo was my safety equipment during mowing this week! LOL!

To my point - ALL trailers MUST be BACKED INTO PARKING!! If you need assistance, please just ask. We won't judge needing help, but we will judge if we need to get a semi tow to get you out!

ALL utility, bumper-pull horse, and small gooseneck trailers should be backed on the grass behind the Clinic building ONLY until your rear tires are on the edge of the grass. If you are leaving your truck hooked-up for the weekend, let me know, I can find alternative parking.

ALL large gooseneck trailers are to be BACKED at a slight diagonal on the grass across from the RV hook-ups. Again, only until your rear tires are on the edge of the grass.

No vehicles are to be used on the grass to obtain items from trailers. Please stay on hard surfaces.

IASPHA Summer Move-in is Wednesday, July 24th, NOT BEFORE 9am!

Mid-America Signature Move-in is Wednesday, July 31st, NOT BEFORE 10am!

Additionally, McHenry County Fair starts Weds, July 31st, which can make traffic worse than it's usual mess at Rt 47 & Country Club Rd. A different route is strongly suggested.

Our newest parking staff member!

7 years ago, Beyond Stable Farm had it's very first horse show! We didn't have a bathhouse, we had a mobile trailer of bathrooms & showers. Our parking lot was a bit wonky and a work in progress, especially for the larger trailers & semi's. Food vendor had to serve out of the end of the Clinic building because our food trailer hadn't been delivered yet. There was no outdoor arena (it wasn't even a thought back then) We've hit a lot of bumps, learned stuff along the way, broke & fixed things (multiple times🤦‍♀️), and had some incredible SOLD OUT shows!🥰 Thank you to every club, barn, trainer, groom, support staff, exhibitor, spectator, parent, grandparent, sibling, & friends that helped make (and keep) this "silly idea" we had a reality. **Just a heads-up to future shows - IDOT is re-doing Route 47 & Route 176 East intersection. Our fence and sign will be moving. All our lovely large trees along the road have already been cut down 😪 for utility relocation. We will keep you posted as construction happens.

GOOD MORNING CRAZY HORSE PEOPLE! Are you ready for day 2 of IASPHA Spring Show? Morning sessions starts at 9am! Doughnuts & coffee will be available outside the horse show office around 730/8. Food trailer opens at 10am, I believe, but listen for announcements. Academy WTC follows the morning session, but not before noon! Exhibitor party before the 6pm evening session, outside the show office with yummy Italian food (ooooo, garlic knots!😋) It's gonna be a gorgeous day. NO WIND!🙏🏻 Spectators are always welcome! Free parking and no charge to watch. Ever wonder about American Saddlebreds? Ask someone with a barn coat on and you will probably get more information than you wanted!🤣🤣 Don't forget to spoil your horses & yourselves by visiting the show vendors located ringside! Photo table will be up & running today! Be kind to my parking staff. Trying to keep everyone safe and efficiently park many cars! Handicapped parking available, just let the parking staff know. Deep breath! Large coffee! And GO!

They are have a Hootin-nannie (Barn Dance) Fundraiser at Beyond Stable Farm on Aug 18th! Like their page to get updated information!

It took a crew, but it's AWESOME!

We are proud to announce that the McHenry Co. Barrel Bash will be happening the weekend of Sept 23rd & 24th! I've attached a practice run from today! More details will be posted as they become available!
