Hello there! We are Zephyr (Zephie - black) and Chichi (tiger striped). Though we aren’t “real” sisters, we are bffs and have been together about 7 weeks now. We are both beautiful, sweet, fearless, and adventurous girls who love to cuddle, watch you work, eat Fancy Feast and Temptations, and just give you tons of love.

We currently live with another cat, and 2 very loud poodles, so we would do great in a home with other cats or dogs. We have not been around kids but we would love to meet them, as we know we would do great with them too!

Though we don’t HAVE to go together, we would love to go as a pair. We play hard and love hard, and we know you would lol at our kitty antics. We also know that research shows that getting 2 kittens is better than just one, so we hope you’ll have room in your heart and home for both of us.

We are fixed and up to date on all our shots. Send us a message if you’re interested.

Senior kitty alert! Precious is 13 yrs young 😉

This sweet girl has landed with us… her previous owners health has declined and she can no longer care for her. Part cat, part potato and avid birdwatcher . Precious is an absolute doll who loves pets and attention. She will follow you around and let you know that it’s meal time. She’ll do best as an only Kitty, but will be OK with others so long as she has plenty of her own space.

You can visit with “Precious” at Petsmart in Acworth.

All are spayed/neutered, have received their first distemper vaccine, rabies (if old enough), combo tested, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped.

Stop by Petco in Kennesaw (Whole Foods Shopping Center) and enjoy the kitty cuddles and you will get many purrs in return. We look forward to seeing you there!

We will also gladly accept any donations you wish to drop off... cat/kitten food wet or dry, litter, cat beds/blankets, toys, cleaning supplies, paper towels, etc.

We did a thing… a thanksgiving pull. We went for 3 and in light of the holiday we cleared the shelter! We are grateful for the folks at Polk County Animal Control, our fosters and supporters. It takes a village and though our village is small, it is mighty.

An early morning run to Polk County Animal Control to pull 3 tiny sickly kittens AND we end up with a carful. Cat math… it just adds up!

Sweet Morgana came from Project Earl. Her person died and left so many cats needing new homes. Morgana needs spayed and she needs a good deal of dental work. She has an appt on Tuesday. We are not sure how much it will cost until it is determined exactly how many teeth need to come out.

We have a beautiful new family available for adoption. Momma the stunning calico, Gorda, and her beautiful babies, Manolo, the orange tabby and Carmen, the grey and white. Stop by Petsmart in Acworth to visit - they will not last long!

Hello friends. We could use your help.
Last week a man died in the more rural part of Cu***ng leaving 34 cats behind (count as of last Friday). His cousin is trying to keep them alive, but he's overwhelmed both with the magnitude of the effort, as well as its economics. He says he's buried about 10 of them already. 💔

Tuesday Thall Hagood (a volunteer at our Canton location) and I drove out there last Friday, to do a fact-finding mission, and to take him about 120 pounds of cat food. The condition of the cats range from worrisome to tragic. All of them seem to have severe fleas and worms, they all look incredibly emaciated, and none of them seem to be thriving.

We've decided to save as many of these cats as we possibly can, but this comes at such a difficult time with the worst kitten season I have ever seen, and abandonments and relinquishments at an all-time high. Just our spay/neuter/vet bills this last couple months has been a worrying 5-digit fortune. And our foster network and volunteer resources are also stretched to their limits.

So I'm asking for special donations for this particular "Project Earl" as I'm calling it (the name of the deceased man's cousin).
And I'm also asking for any fosters who may have room to volunteer their space, time, and expertise.

We have five of the cutest little young kittens at the Canton Petsmart right now. In fact, we have 14 kittens at the moment. These five are just our brand new ones.
