The babies are on their way!!! Thank you to Kayla & Holly in KY for taking care of and getting them to the 8 week mark so they can now go to their new homes. And huge shoutout to all our drivers and fosters helping today. Pray for their safe travels.

🚨Foster or foster to adopt for Penny!!

Penny is a 1 year old chocolate lab. She is crate trained and house trained. She is great with kids of all ages and doesn’t jump up on anyone. She knows all her basic commands. She walks well on a leash. She is good with other dogs and cats. She will be spayed at one of the TLC vets once she gets into her foster home. She is a young lab so still needs exercise and continuous training to ensure she’s a well rounded, happy pup! ♥️

🚨FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED FOR BUDDY 🚨

Buddy is a 4 year old chocolate lab who was surrendered to a high kill shelter when his owner moved and said the new place didn’t allow dogs 😢 Buddy has lived with little kids and has done great with them. He is good with other dogs. Unknown about cats. He is housebroken and crate trained. He knows his basic commands. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He would come up on transport next Thursday 2/13. Let us know if you are already approved and want to give this boy a second chance. Still waiting for their furever home….BONNIE and MOLLY 🌹

Bonnie and Molly are 8 and 9 year old pair of bonded lab mixes girls. These 2 girls were surrendered to TLC when their owner was loosing their home and she didn’t want them to end up in the wrong hands. These girls are a great pair!! They are housebroken, don’t need to be crated, and LOVE lounging on the couch with you!! They are good in the car, like going for walks, and like laying on the deck, soaking up the sun. They are fine with other animals. Everyone who meets them says how sweet they are!! These 2 deserve a furever home. Seniors truly are the very best! ♥️♥️

Elle is an appx 2 year old yellow girl who found herself at an overcrowded shelter when she was found as a stray. She is now in danger of being put to sleep because there is no space. Elle is good with cats and other dogs. She is said to be super sweet. She would love a home of her very own. She would come up on transport on Thursday 🩷

Winnie is a 4 year old lab/weimeriner mix. She is being rehomed because she is not getting the attention she deserves. She spends most of her day in a crate. She is great with other dogs and kids of all sizes. She has never been around cats. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She absolutely LOVES playing ball!!!

Transport Help Needed - Saturday 2/8
We have 12 puppies arriving Saturday and need a team to help get them to their foster homes. Below are the legs. If you are able to help, please let me know asap.

2 medium crates would be ideal to transport the 12. The last 2 legs with 5 & 3 pups can just use 1 crate. This will be no paws on the ground transport.

Come out to Pet Expo MKE tomorrow and support TLC!!! We will also have tennis balls, all natural doggy soap, dog treats, and a super fun slot machine game 🎰 with prizes.

FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT FOR NOVA

Nova is 6 years old! She has been around other dogs most of her life so she doesnt have a problem with socializing, she is a bit shy and reserved at first and doesnt like to be contained when meeting new dogs, but she is very friendly and calm once she warms up to a new friend. She is great around all adults male & female and especially children. She does jump when shes excited but she doesnt jump very high as her back legs are a bit weak. She is spayed and is up to date on vaccines. She has weaker back legs muscles as mentioned before which has caused her bladder to weaken a bit so she is on incontinence medication (proin 50mg) twice daily which controls the incontinence and she doesn’t have any accidents in the house. She is fully crate trained and potty trained and can be in her crate for up to an 8 hour work day if needed. She also has a small growth on her toe that will be looked at by one of the TLC vets once in a foster home. Let us know if you can help Nova. She deserves furever home ♥️

Madison is appx 2 years old and was dumped on a farm out in the country. And now she has found herself at a shelter where her time is running out. She is great with other dogs and kids. Unknown about cats. The shelter said she is super sweet and wants love so bad! Let us know if you’re interested in this sweet girl. She would come up on transport on 2/6.

🐾 HELP NEEDED - SAT 2/1 - 11:30am-2:30pm or 230-5:30pm
Our rescue, TLC - The Labrador Connection has a booth at the pet expo and I need some volunteers to help with our human slot machine 🎰. All you have to do is sit at a table and choose an item out of the basket in front of you. You can come early and walk the expo or even stay after. It's such a fun event if you love animals. Let me know and I will give you more details.

The babies are growing fast!! These pups will be arriving 2/8 and they will be 8 weeks old. We currently have the 8 below available for adoption. If you are interested, please let us know. If you are not already approved, please fill out an adoption application so we can get your virtual home visit completed prior to arrival. We will be requiring a $50 non refundable deposit to hold your pup that will be applied to the $400 adoption fee.

Foster or Foster to Adopt for Bilbo

Location: Plano, IL, but we can transport to new home

Bilbo’s family is moving soon and he can’t go with.

*6 years old, neutered and up to date on vaccinations, does great at groomer

*Great Pyrenees/Lab mix

* an amazing dog—intelligent, quick to learn, and well-behaved.

*He only barks when he’s outside and has been a wonderful companion. Like his namesake, he loves adventures, new things, and meeting new people.

*He was raised around cats and other family member’s dogs. He isn’t sure what to do about toddlers, but older (taller) children he is ok with.

*Originally, he was a mostly an inside dog for current owner’s 90-year-old mother, but over this past year, he’s grown to love being outdoors in all kinds of weather, for long periods of time. Whether inside or out, he’s a loyal and gentle soul. He's expressive and asks to go out -or if his water bowl is empty - with a little pounce and a small "ruff' while flopping his ears forward!

*He enjoys playing "soccer" with me and using his toys as soccer balls.

*He loves a large fenced area and protecting his people, mostly from cats 🤣
