Responsibilities include but are not limited to bring in/turn out, feed/water, light grooming, blanket as needed, clean stalls. Experience with horses required. Competitive pay. Our Story

Our two granddaughters are certifiably horse crazy. WE are certifiably crazy about our granddaughters, Madi and Cakki.

In 2011 we gave Madi four horseback riding lessons for her birthday, thinking she would maybe learn enough to do a little trail riding … kinda like we did as kids on our grandparents’ farms. Madi had much bigger aspirations. A few years later, Cakki was also dreaming of horses … and unicorns.

So what’s a truly awesome grandparent to do? Easy. Buy some land, build a barn, add horses (still searching for that unicorn), and they will come. That one small gift to Madi changed our lives dramatically, and we are loving every minute. Millstone Stables is our dream-come-true we didn’t know we had. We’re having a blast! Come join the fun!
