Just a reminder, that Western Weekend is March 29th-30th. We encourage trail riders to get their coggins as soon as possible, to avoid delays in receiving their results. These babies are now with the Woodville Animal Shelter. Please help them find a home before their time is up, whether it’s to foster or to adopt.

We would like to inform our clients that we now carry Librela. It is a once a month antibody injection to help with pain associated with osteoarthritis. It is meant to replace NSAIDs. We also carry the cat version, Solensia.

We offer a monthly therapeutic injection, called Solensia, to treat arthritis in cats. It can take up to 3 months to see results, but often results are seen after the first month. You can call our office, 409-283-2220, to schedule this monthly injection for your senior cat. Traditionally, treatment options were very limited for cats, so we are excited that this option became available.

There has been concerns whether or not that the Woodville Veterinary Clinic will remain open, which we would like to address. Dr. Costello that has been practicing at our clinic for 11 years, will be taking over the practice. We hope this addresses any concerns.
