New Pittsburg Large Animal Clinic

New Pittsburg Large Animal Clinic NPVC is a three doctor practice servicing Wayne County and surrounding counties. In the summer of 1983, Dr. Brad Garrison joined the practice.

New Pittsburg Large Animal Clinic was founded in July 1981 by Dr. Dick Wiley and his wife Karen in the community of New Pittsburg, which is 8 miles west of Wooster. Due to growing number of clientele and shortage of office space, the clinic then moved to it's current location in Wooster in 1986. Shortly after graduating from Ohio State, Dr. Dave White joined the practice in 2003. Then in 2007, N

ew Pittsburg Large Animal Clinic merged its dairy practice with Dr. Mike Finney's dairy practice in Marshallville. In November of 2017, we hired Dr. Craig Zimmerly as our fifth veterinarian. In 2018 both Dr. Wiley and Dr. Finney decided to retire from the large animal aspect of veterinary medicine. With a need to hire another large animal veterinarian, Dr. Bryan Everly joined the practice in November 2021. Currenty, the practice services over 50,000 cattle. The majority of work is routine reproductive services and preventative care. After hour emergency service is provided to established clients. In addition to four veterinarians, the staff includes: a veterinary technician, a book keeper, and receptionist.

Congratulations to Dr. Brad Garrison, he is being inducted today into the Northwestern Alumni Hall of Fame!

The Northwestern Alumni Hall of Fame was established in 2005 to recognize graduates of Northwestern High School who have distinguished themselves by a high level of achievement, and have set a standard of excellence to which present students can aspire.
Honorees are chosen every two years by a Selection Committee, drawn from the Northwestern community, which chooses a maximum of five honorees from among nominations submitted by the general public.

Congratulations Dr. Garrison, we are so proud of all of your accomplishments!
