An article I found wrote about the Shepadoodle.
German Doodle, Shep-A-Poo, Shepdoodle, Sherdoodle The Shepadoodle dog breed is a medium to large-sized, hypoallergenic hybrid dog breed that is a combination of the German Shepherd and the Poodle. This stupendous, happy-go-lucky dog breed is one whose appearance can vary from looking exactly like the Poodle, to being a very shaggy-haired version of the German Shepherd. Typically, they will have floppy ears, large brown eyes, and a long tail. Their fur can come in a range of different lengths and textures, but only the Poodle-type fur is truly hypoallergenic and sheds very little. When it comes to personality, it's hard to beat the sincerity of this special dog. They are loyal to a T, extremely loving, well-mannered, and gentle making them the perfect family companion for children and other pets. If you are looking for a dog breed that has enough energy to be fun, but not too much to cause issues, this pup may be perfect for you. They are very family-oriented and prefer to be with their people over all else. Easy to train and quick to adapt, there is no doubt that the Shepadoodle makes a great dog for any level of pet parent. PURPOSE Working, Companion DATE OF ORIGIN 1960s ANCESTRY Poodle and German Shepherd Shepadoodle Health AVERAGE SIZE Height: 22-28 inches Weight: 50-90 lbs Height: 22-28 inches Weight: 50-90 lbs Temperament With a well-mannered disposition, strong loyalty, and loving nature the Shepadoodle is definitely a family dog at heart. They love playing with children and other pets, getting along with virtually everyone. While they will bark when needing to be heard and excited, the Shepadoodle does not bark incessantly. But, don't be fooled by their quiet nature, as this dog breed makes an excellent watchdog. Their intelligence and loyalty to family cause them to be protective without aggression and more than willing to alert you to anything suspicious. This active pup does have a playful and energetic nature, but they do not need to be run silly every single day to get their energy out. This dog breed will be perfectly content to stay inside and spend time with their pet parents, with an occasional play time for exercise. Because of this, this canine adapts well to any type of living situation. Shepadoodle Activity Requirements This is a moderate to high-energy dog breed that will require a decent amount of outdoor time to stay fit and happy. Although the Shepadoodle will be more than thrilled to stay inside with the pack and chill, they have a very active ancestry that will drive them to want to play and romp around outside all day if they can. It is important to remember that even though your dog loves you and enjoys being inside with you, they will be even happier to spend time outside enjoying nature and burning off energy by your side. Some great activities to do with your Shepadoodle may be a jog, a long dog walk, playing fetch in the yard, and biking. Dog training is another great way to bond with your furry companion while also tiring them out mentally. Intelligent dogs need the chance to work their mind in order to fight off boredom later on. Dogs who do not get this opportunity may become destructive when left alone, so it's better to spend a few minutes teaching some tricks and manners in order to learn more about your dog and keep them using their energy for a positive purpose.
