Some days are more chaotic in the office than others 🤣
Fill the room with 6 puppies and their mom=instant entertainment! This crew got their first adjustments and are ready to go to their new homes on the right foot!

We're out of the office until next Wednesday November 20th while Dr. Crouse travels for the next portion of her osteopathic techniques training. We'll see you when we get back!

I have taken a bit of a hiatus from social media for most of this year, I'm sure you are missing some cute pet pics in the meantime! Wheeler is here to tell you the importance of exercise at all ages. He wants to grow up big and strong so he is starting his journey into chiropractic care now and will start following in his siblings lead on a good exercise routine.

Bimmer didn't want to be left out since all of his canine siblings come into for care. He came to check it out and get some help with his inflammatory bowel disease. He's taking his herbs and supplements like a champ and already feeling so much better!
He has explored the whole office and is officially in charge here! 😹

Check out sweet Charlie being the most perfect volunteer dog for our classes. We had an awesome crew of dogs who helped us learn over the past 4 days. Charlie is helping me here with some new indirect osteopathy pelvic techniques. I also got to work on his lymphatic drainage the day before! He's feeling good and all spruced up now 😸
Can't wait to get home and start using the new knowledge on my awesome patients!

Taking in the gorgeous scenery before class starts! The office will be closed through next Tuesday while I am out of town for the advanced portion of the functional indirect osteopathy course. I'll post more later on what this means for your pet. But now off to fill my brain! 🧠

I realized yesterday when a long time client didn't know I treated cats too that I don't post enough kitties! So here is Paisley checking his notes to make sure I got it all right.
In case you don't know, I love cats 😻 (and have my own army at home!) and really love kitty acupuncture! They respond so well to acupuncture and I lovingly refer to them as my needle vampires because they love to suck up the energy during a treatment.
Common reasons I see cats in the office: arthritis, bladder issues, gastrointestinal issues, behavior problems, cancer, and on and on!
Most hang out in my lap for their treatment and find visits relaxing 😺

I missed posting for National Dog Day over the weekend so today we celebrate Atticus! This special guy is a regular at Paws in Balance as we do our best to help him age as gracefully as possible and work through some medical conditions thrown at him. Despite several chronic illnesses, this sweet boy always has a smile on his face and a wag in his tail. 💚

In case you didn't get enough puppy love from last weeks post, we had a puppy bonanza today! Meet Brio, Maddie and Mac who also wanted to join the Paws in Balance tribe like the rest of their family! It was a riot with all of these busy-bodies romping around the office today. And then to top off our pre-holiday celebrations, we had a surprise puppy visit when Maydr brought his new sister to his regular appointment! Welcome Sohlah!

What a difference a month can make! Wager is lucky that his big brothers and sisters know the benefits of chiropractic care so he gets to start at such a young age! Sometimes he just comes for the ride to their appointments because the office is so much fun. We have snacks and snuffle mats, it's a real party! 😊
