S Squared Performance Horses offers a variety of services, including, but not limited to c**t starting, ground work/halter breaking, tune ups or more miles, pony/small horse training, and a consignment program. The goal is to set the horse up to be a successful athlete by teaching it to be soft, willing, and respectful. Shae is originally from Covington, Ohio, where her passion for horses was esta
blished at a very young age. Her development progressed through a variety of equine specialties, such as; trick riding, drill team, rodeo, jumping, and trail riding. She also trained horses for local owners and gave riding lessons to other aspiring riders. Shae decided to further her career and education by attending Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colorado, where she graduated in 2020 with degrees in Horse Training and Management and Equine Business Management. While at Lamar Community College, she specialized in the reined cow horse and performed two internships with Drake Johnson Performance Horses in Wray, Colorado. This experienced enhanced Shae's knowledge in riding techniques in reining, ranch versatility, and reined cow horse. Now, Shae is continuing to spread her passion for horses as the owner of S Squared Performance Horses located in Wray, Colorado - where she applies all of the disciplines into her own training programs.
