Friends of the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center

Friends of the Pet Adoption Center assists the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center that was opened in November 1999 as the home to the Division of Humane Services for St. Charles County. Since our doors opened the Pet Adoption Center have been dedicated to improving the lives of the animals in our community. From Sheltering and Adopting animals into safe loving Forever Homes, to reuniting lost pets with their owners, to performing low cost Spay & Neuter surgeries and Rabies Vaccinations, we are dedicated to doing our best to help these animals live safe happy and healthy lives.

Adoption Fees for Dogs, Puppies, Cats, and Kittens are $60.00. All of our Adoptions include... - A Health Examination - Initial Vaccinations - Spay or Neuter Surgery - Microchip - Temperament Education - A County License Tag - Cat Specific: All cats are FELV Tested - Dog Specific: All dogs are Heartworm Tested If you're looking to add a new furry member to your family, consider Adopting. Regardless of what has brought these fur babies to the Shelter, they all deserve the chance at a happy life, and by bringing them into your family, you can give them that chance. If you love animals but don't want one of your own just yet, or you have your own already but would like to help out, you can always Volunteer with us! You can Volunteer as... - Adoption Counselor (must have previous Adoption experience or a minimum of 40 Volunteer Shelter hours) - Dog Walker/Socializer - Cat Socializer - Dog Bather/Groomer - Front Office Greeter/Kennel Greeter - Kennel Assistant - Launderer - Medical Assistant (veterinary experience required) - Photographer - Public Education (requires on the job training) Whether looking to Adopt or Volunteer, we hope to see you soon!!
