Saint Nicholas visits the barn
dedicated to BART whom we all miss so much

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the barn
the stalls were decked out with ribbons and yarn.
The stockings were hung by the gates with great care
in hopes that the treats soon would be there.

The blankets put on
Dinner been fed
they'd all settled down snug in there beds.

When out in the barnyard there arose such a clatter
up they all sprung to see whats the matter.
With neighing and pawing they looked out the barn
there manes getting tangled in the ribbons and yarn.

What they did see when they looked out the barn was a jolly old elf
quick with the treats and sure of himself.
Along with the ELF was a small cart he stood by
with eight tiny horses no bigger than his thigh.
He whistled and shouted and called them by name
Oh Primera, oh storm, on Selma and Brigand
Oh karma and red oh Captain and Journey
To the top of the gate to the top of the stalls,
flyaway, flyaway ,flyway all.

When he reach the barn roof down the supports he did go
visiting each horse with a whisper and scratch on the head
and calmed them all down and put them to bed.
With the horses all settled the treats did appear
and he put them in stockings hung far and quite near.

With the treats all delivered back up the supports he did go
and walked cross the roof all covered in snow
he climbed in his cart and in the air he did go across the moon oh so bright
and as he flew by he called to the horses
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, HAVE A WONDERFULL NIGHT.
