Shadow and Salem 🖤🖤 We were contacted by our local mechanic shop about a kitten that jumped out of the engine of a car that was just brought to them 🚗 They got the kitten to run into their bathroom. We went to assess the situation he was fearful but not feral. You could feel every little bone in his body. We cleaned his eyes gave him dewormer and fed him...... then we couldn't get him off of us 🥹🐾 purring and giving nonstop love 🥰 We contacted the owner of the vehicle and they said there was one more that's been coming around their property. A trap was set and we got his brother 🎉🥳 Luckily a nice family was willing to Foster the boys and we reunited them 🥹 they're so grateful they go to the vet on Friday and an appointment will be made to get them fixed. The nice lady from the mechanic shop asked if she can name the one Salem. We let the Foster pick the second name they chose Shadow because he wont stop following his brother around 😆 so cute! Kitten season is so hard 😞 We are so sorry to everyone that we cannot help. It's completely overwhelming. They are everywhere

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there! We would like to give a special shout out to the dad behind the scenes You may never see him but the animals do EVERY DAY 🐾🖤 countless hours walking, especially in the middle of the night. He shares his studio and food with them 😁🍽️ If we need something built fixed or painted he does it 🛠️ 🎨 If we need extra money he works harder! Our organization is what it is today because of his support 🐾 we are are incredibly grateful 😘

Update 😊 First and foremost THANK YOU!!! There's no words to express how grateful we are to everyone for your support 🙌🐾 We needed help and we got it immediately. You brought our director to tears 🥹 Second, thank you for the name suggestions SO MANY great ones! We decided on DUNE 🖤 third, we would like to give a shout out to desert mountain vet for working with our rescue 📣 🩺 They have truly been a lifesaver 🛟 They were so gentle with him today and are getting him in Monday morning for surgery 🥳 stomach is down p**p is looking great and he is feeling fantastic. Feeling so good he went over the backyard fence to greet us at the front door 😯 We got some wood, made the fence taller and took care of that 😁 very smart guy. Zero animal aggression 🙌 which is incredibly helpful and makes things much easier for us. We'll keep you posted and again thank you. We are nothing without you

The gray cat trapped today has five kittens running around 😖😣😩😫 We have nowhere to put any kittens right now. We are at our limit. The best we can do is trap them, fix them and let them back out. It would be wonderful if we could get them off the property though. The truth is they're not going to last long out here with all the predators 🌲🐺🦅 If anyone is interested in saving some kitten's lives, let us know. They'll need some socialization. They would need to start off in a bathroom or a small bedroom with no hiding places. They will come around quick. We'll pay for all the vetting.

No good deed goes unpunished 🤢🙃😴 unfortunately our surrounding city has so many desert dogs 🏜️🌵 we know our limits and can't save them all but this guy was BEGGING for help. He was trying so hard to cool down by going into the laundromat and when he was kicked out he was trying to get into the doctor's office a few doors down. They both offered water but he could not be inside. He ended up falling asleep by the door 🥲 he was overheating looked emaciated, but his stomach was extremely bloated 😮 We knew what was coming 💩 😖 longest night ever! Every 2 hours we would take him out but there would still be a mess every time 😞 Luckily we keep certain medication on hand for times like this. He's feeling so much better this morning and his stomach is completely down now ❤️‍🩹 It looked like tons of sand. Survival is hard for these dogs. They eat what they can. HELP US NAME HIM!! GIVE US SUGGESTIONS 💡 🥰 and if you can please consider a small donation towards his care or sending a bag of dog food from our wish list. He needs to see a vet ASAP and get fully vetted once healthier 🩺💊 Kitten season is tapping out our organization and we could use extra help Thank you! 🙏🐶

🥹 🌸 is the best! She sure loved her visit from the girl scouts today 🥰 Thank you everyone for sharing our last post we had a couple people reach out about her🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 We all rubbed blossom's belly at the same time to give her some good luck 😆 One of the girls hugged her and prayed to God to help her be adopted 😭 It was so precious 💕

67 kids came to visit us today 😊 was in heaven 🐾😆 We had the opportunity to talk with them about kitten season and what trap and release is 😸 We also got to share our latest rescue stories with them along with a little education 📚 Our friends shared some amazing rescued friends that slither and crawl 🐍🦎🐢 So many reptiles are neglected and suffer because of improper care. It's so important to teach children the do's and don'ts when making the decision to commit to owning a reptile. Today was a good day 🥰
