Just one week away from our fun show! The course is all decorated for Fall 🍂 Patterns are posted below ⬇️

-Just a reminder, all show participants can use the course for one hour following the conclusion of the show for free.

-For those that are planning on coming and have not contacted us, please let us know as it is helpful to have a head count.

-Jersey Maples will be having their second trail event on October 7th. They are 15 minutes away from our facility.

-We have stalls available but please contact us ahead of time.

For those who may not have heard, my friend and mentor, Lindsey Partridge, was involved in a riding accident a little over a week ago. She has been one of the most instrumental horsewomen I have ever met and the one who started me on the path for better horsemanship. Our upcoming show will be a fundraiser which will go towards various expenses related to her accident. Please join us on October 8th in support! All disciplines, breeds, and riding levels are welcome! This will be a relaxed show to enjoy with your horse :)

For those who wish to follow Lindsey's recovery, please like Harmony Horsemanship and Lindsey Partridge.

We hope to see you there!

At the conclusion of the show, we will have an open one-hour free session of playtime on the course for all show participants!

Less than 1 month away! If you plan on coming, please shoot us a message to just let us know for a head count, it would be greatly appreciated! :)

In case anyone is interested in having a fun trail filled weekend with their pony, Jersey Maples Farm will be hosting a Poker Ride/Hunter Pace on Saturday, October 7th. They are about a 15-minute drive from our farm. Riders/Handlers are more than welcome to use our overnight accommodations and attend the show the next day if interested in attending both local events. 🙂

We are officially open for the year by appointment only. Clubs, groups, and barn families welcome! We offer overnight accommodations including a cabin on site, ten stalls, and three hookups. Come enjoy a weekend with your horse and friends while on our trail system and the course☺️

Hook ups are $10 a night.
Cabin is $75 a night
Stalls are $25 a night
Course is $50 for four hours per horse and rider combination.

What a lovely clinic with Mindfully Mounted & Fit this past weekend! Tanya was able to identify and solve a lot of rider problems that many have been struggling with. Many of the participants had asymmetries, crookedness, tense areas, compensatory patterns, and reduced body awareness that were affecting their riding.

I personally have been struggling with crookedness while riding for the past year and Tanya was able to help me A LOT. My little Arabian mare had some breakthroughs during our riding session as well!

Thank you to our lovely participants and to the clinician, Tanya!

For those that may be interested in making an adventurous weekend, Jersey Maples offers fun events (hunter paces, scavenger hunts, trail rides, etc) throughout the summer and fall. They are about a 15-20 minute drive from Fargo Creek Horse Park. Feel free to contact us about bringing a group here for a fun day on the course, stay overnight, and then participate at another local event (or vice versa 😉). Book with us for an overnight stay! Come ride on the course in the cool evening and morning hours plus head out for a trail ride on our new trail system.

Price: $50 for 4 hours per horse and rider combo. (You can split up the hours. For example, 2 hours in the evening and then 2 hours in the morning on the course)
The trails are FREE for course participants.
Stalls are $25 (10 stalls in the barn and 3 covered outdoor stalls)
AirBNB on site: $75 (1 queen size bed)
Hookups and water available on site. Indoor arena open for warmup/use.
Camping welcome. We will even build you a campfire 🙂

We are excited to have our first clinic here at Fargo Creek Horse Park LLC!

Clinic: Effective Communication and Riding using Biomechanics and the Alexander Technique with Tanya Bevilacqua from Mindfully Mounted Fit.

About: Posture, correct use of our aids/body and balance are essential to effective communication with your horse. Negative body movement causes this communication to falter and even causes physical harm to both the human and horse. Tanya is known for her abilities to describe the details and “how-to’s” of each aid and how to undo the negative issues that block connection. Riders learn feel with a gentle, hands-on approach and learn how to manage their seat and bodies at a given moment. Her clinics bring awareness to riders of their own bodies and how to use it to become an effective, empathetic communicator with others and themselves. The Alexander Technique provides the answer to moving with ease, less tension and with more flow. Applied to riding, the horse and rider become a union of partnership.

This is a one-day clinic with unmounted rider sessions in the morning and riding in the afternoon. All skill levels and riding disciplines are welcome!

Cost: $115
Register by June 21. Must have payment by that date. No return of funds unless registrant can fill their vacancy. The cost includes a stall during the day for your horse, refreshments, and lunch.

Time: 8am-6pm

Lodging: We have a one-bedroom (queen size bed) with a full bathroom sugar house located within 50 yards of the horse barn. It is $75 a night. We also have 1 RV hookup with water and electric near the horse barn.
Other lodging: Ringneck Ridge (hunting preserve with housing accommodations; 5 mins away) and the Wyalusing Hotel (8-10 mins away)
